A player have some skills namely: stamina, pace, technique, passing, keeper, defender, playmaker, striker and tactical discipline, these skills will reflect on the match. You can find more information about the skill right here. However most of it is logical, i would advice you to take a look.

Above, you can see most of the possitions on a football field. I will try to give a short overview of the different possitions. 2 extra notes:
- this guidline is very subjective. It will help in the beginning but after a while you will create your own vision of these players.
- in sokker it's important that your players are a bit all-round. In lower divisions it isn't always possible to have these kind of players, so you need to do it with what you have.

Keeper:he will need mostly keeper and pace (to get fast out of his goal). Focus on those 2skills. Later you can buy a keeper with good passing. However a goaly isn't so important than a field player so i would suggest to invest first in the field players.

Last man: a position who is rarely used against tactical strong teams, because he will make the offside almost impossible (you keep best the defenders on 1 line). The last man has only pace and defending.

Central defender: the centrale defender is like the last man, but on the higher divisions he wil need some playmaking passing and technique to play the ball decend away. On the other hand in lower divisions the most important skills are defending and pace.

Fullback: the fullback is in the first place a defender, but he may help in the offensive part, he will need playmaking and passing for this. The pace skill may be a little bit lower than the central defender.

Wingback: the wingback is a more offensive player than the fullback. He may come forward if the ball is on his side. In lower divisions there is very small difference between a fullback and a wingback.

Def midfielder: the def-mid mostly makes for the balance on the midfield. He will give the other midfielders some cover and takes more the defensive job of the midfield.

Central midfielder: The central midfielder have less defensive qualities than a def midfielder, but more offensive skills.

Mid wing: a warior on the midfield, he won't come often of his line. He try to play the ball as fast as possible to the strikers. I advice this type of player in the lower divisions because the off wing has some higher demands.

Off. midfielder: he plays higher than the central midfielder and doesn't do many defensive jobs. His main job is to give the striker usefull balls. Thats why he needs a lot of passing and playmaking.

Off wing: The off wing have the same job like the mid wing, he will make a action and go past his opponent. This kind of player needs a lot of passing compared to the other mids (absolute minimum is excellent). I would advice beginning manangers, to wait before using this.

Attacker: your striker has the task to score. Logical he needs to have striking. Technique and pace are crucial to create a chances.

you can play with only 3 ATT orders (and 5 MID and 5 DEF)

So if you play with 4 strikers, 1 will need the order MID :)

bisa pake banyak striker kok, tapi yg penting di ordersnya di set jadi MID salah satunya, dia tetap nyerang dan sesuai dengan posisi di taktik, tapi terhitung midfielder

IMHO wingback or fullback also need pace as much as CD or more than CD since their movement is up and down he need good pace to quickly back after he goes attacking when the team lost position

He needs a bit of pace but because he has a higher playmaking level, he can anticipate more on the movement of the ball.

so far i put pace on priority since also only 3 out of 10 of my defender have reasonable playmaking :D

pace always comes before playmaking when it comes to defenders ;)
I prefer them kicking the ball out of bounds instead of being outrun by an opponent winger/striker ;)

but the throw in near goal line sometime creating goal for my opponent.. so i prefer my player didn't kick out of bound but pass it to their teammates :D

Throw ins are the hardest part of the game, because ME isnt logical at all concerning these situations :)
