Primer amistoso previo al mundial, creo que se notaron varias deficiencias en cuanto a la táctica alta y a la posición de un extremo que prácticamente fue inútil. El partido fue dominado por los rumanos que desaprovecharon muchas oportunidades, solo en los últimos minutos logramos el objetivo y mostramos buena cara, sabemos en qué fallamos y vamos a trabajar en las soluciones.
Hay mucho que hacer para los venideros encuentros, hay buen nivel en los jugadores pero todavía se nota la baja resistencia de algunos.
Por ahora hay que prepararse, nos ubicaron en un grupo para el mundial muy parejo:
Grupo B
Alemania u21
Colombia u21
Cuba u21
USA u21
De nosotros depende estar en la siguiente ronda y calidad tiene nuestra selección.
Trataremos de defender nuestra condición de sub campeón!!

Buen resultado a pesar de la derrota y la ventaja q nos dieron por la roja de uno de sus defensas.
En el rendimiento colectivo de ambas selecciones se puede ver que su equipo es superior al nuestro.
La táctica corregida nos proporcionó más seguridad en defensa y provocó bastantes oportunidades a nuestra ofensiva, pero Ponce y en el segundo tiempo Consuegra no pudieron anotar!
Nuestro portero no es el ideal, pero es bastante bueno y no le podemos hechate la culpa de los goles. Hoy nuestra defensa no era la titular, o al menos en gran parte y se comportó bastante bien, creo que podemos pensar en el mundial con buenas espectativas y espero el apoyo de la comunidad en cada conquista!!

Yeah, sokker yesterday try to make I lose the match with the red card and also with a injury in one of my central defenders in 2nd half, but you did it a good job, I try to test some things and you use well this to balance the match, although even though you made your winger receive the ball many times, it was a good test for me to see how is the diagonal and vertical positioning of my defense to prevent this same winger from creating something dangerous.
My squad probably will be better since polish community is the biggest in the game, but we have also our problems for yesterday too (form for example).
A pity Alienomo will do not continue (I will miss his jokes in international forum), but you show to be a good replacement... keep continue with this.

Yes, I prefer to play on very low-width pitches to limit the effectiveness of any classic wide wings without having to use the classic five-man defence that would force me to give up a man who, instead of destroying, would build up the play. And I prefer to play on very short pitches to limit random counter-attacks and favour game building.
I am also like to use a lot of measures to make the match be on my favor... For me is incredible that a lot of coaches do not use that as a advantage to be honest.
Coaching the national team forced me to constantly work on tactics and to change my mind often, something that didn't happen to me when I was dealing only with my club. For several reasons: the other coaches are very well prepared and we cannot be left behind; in the national team you can't make little mistakes if you want to get excellent results, a defeat often costs dearly; you don't want to disappoint the expectations of those who voted for you.
Yeah... National Teams here is the most competitive thing that exist in the game, when you make a failure in your club, no one will talk to you since is your club and you can make whatever do you want in your club, but when you are in a national team, have other coaches that are competitive like you and wanna bring results and this create to be a more complex game since your strategic and psychological side matters... strategic in terms of study well positioning, watching your opponent's games, trying to learn from other coaches, knowing how to use substitutions as a strategy too, etc... and the psychological is about you end up hesitating for fear of failure or a hard defeat leaves you frustrated and makes you not have the same attention you had before and know how to deal with pressure, etc... That's why I've been there for so many years as a U21 coach... coaching NT is like a drug that I'm addicted.
In this regard, I enter the heart of my tactical and life thinking. I think that many times you ended up falling into this trap by simply not trying to change the depth of your lines a little bit. Because for me, if my opponent still uses same formation, but always change the depth of his lines, he will already create a doubt in my mind. Why? Because he is no longer predictable.
The key in National teams is the word predictable, if we become that, we are easy prey.
I prefer defenders with Playmaker, Technique and Passing at least acceptable; the midfielders with Defense, and maybe even Striker; and the attackers with Pace, Technique and not necessarily superdivine in Striker, but with at least acceptable Playmaker and Defense.
Defenders with playmaker, technique and passing makes a huge difference indeed, a pity in U21 we do not have all the time such options... hehe!
Striker for me is the most overrated skill in the game that I explained in my association with some texts the reason... For me pace and technique always will be the most important skills for a good striker.
The Falso Nueve is a Roberto Baggio-like playmaker, so he has to move a lot and freely throughout the field, he is out of the box and can be fast or even slow, but in the other skills he must be complete. Bueno, el resultado un poco abultado me mostró que la táctica en defensa no debe estar taan atrás! Al menos sacamos experiencia de la derrota, Campo no funcionó como MP y los mediocampistas tan separados pierden en trabajo en equipo. Positivo: La ofensiva funciona a la perfección, excepto a la hora de la definición (un amigo me recordó que los delanteros con baja creación toman malas decisiones y en esos casos es mejor dejarlos como revulsivos después que la defensa rival está cansada)
Sin más: creo que estamos listos para el mundial, o al menos sabemos que debemos hacer y ya hemos trabajado en ello, la hora de la verdad está cerca y no debemos vacilar, tenemos buen equipo, esperen lo mejor de la cubita subcampeona del mundo, la pretemporada no ha sido buena, pero se que un buen resultado es posible y no estamos confiados, como dice Ronaldo: al machete!!

Para mí la pretemporada fue buena,ya que cumplimos los objetivos de probar tácticas y jugadores, los malos resultados son necesarios si se quiere tomar nota de los errores. A partir de ahora es que cuenta realmente el marcador. Vamos a dar batalla,a fin de cuentas, estamos en el mundial!!! Nos vemos en el estadio.

Y arranca el mundial... todo está listo y las cartas están sobre la mesa, es la hora de la verdad y vamos con todo!
Hemos tenido la triste noticia sobre la lesión de uno de nuestros mediocampistas, Kindelan es uno de esos jugadores que hace un trabajo silencioso en cada partido, el resto del equipo tiene que trabajar un poquito más duro pero estoy seguro que pueden lograrlo. Por otro lado ya entrenó con el equipo Carmenate, no va a jugar este primer partido, pero ya está casi recuperado, contaremos con él próximamente.
El rival de turno, si bien no es de los más fuertes del grupo tiene sus armas en ataque, debemos estar atentos a sus delanteros.
Hoy tendremos sorpresas en nuestro sistema de juego, tengo plena confianza en los jugadores, estoy seguro que lograremos iniciar con buen pie.
Vamos Cuba, comienza la pasión!!

Lamentablemente la victoria no se logró, un sólo gol les fue suficiente para vencernos, debido a la nula eficacia de nuestros delanteros. La táctica del wing funcionó a las mil maravillas, la defensa erró poco, aunque se vieron superados por el wing rival por la banda. Pronto haré un análisis uno por uno del rendimiento de nuestros jugadores.
Al parecer los jugadores deben adaptarse a las nuevas tácticas, llevan poco tiempo jugando con este sistema, quizás eso les pasó factura, pero no dejamos de crear oportunidades.
El partido estuvo de cualquier lado, tanto ellos como nosotros tuvimos chances claros, su wing le ganó por la banda a P. M. Rivas en varias ocasiones (11 forma) y por la otra banda Brene no es rápido, esperemos que Carmenate se recupere para el próximo partido. Además como ya dije tienen que acomodarse todavía más a mí sistema de juego.
El centro del campo me gustó mucho, en especial Bell, Consuegra necesita forma y a Yerandy Fuentes no se le puede exigir mejor partido. De Calero no hay mucho que decir, es nuestro mejor jugador!
El portero estuvo increíble, detuvo varios tiros a puerta.
Por otra parte los delanteros están en una sequía goleadora tremenda, sin quitarle méritos al portero de USA U21, son delanteros de mucho nivel y tuvieron muchas oportunidades. Los juegos se ganan anotando y eso es lo que nos falta, cuando los delanteros se encuentren con el gol Cuba será de temer!
Colombia perdió contra Alemania 2-3 si queremos pasar debemos ganar a estas dos buenas selecciones:

Rivas en varias ocasiones (11 forma) y por la otra banda Brene no es rápido, esperemos que Carmenate se recupere para el próximo partido. Además como ya dije tienen que acomodarse todavía más a mí sistema de juego.
