I know I've mentioned this before, and good points were brought up against my view, but...
... until we can find a decent 2nd striker, I honestly don't see any point playing with two up front.
Maselesele is poor. His conversion rate is actually better than Nel's for some strange reason but he gets far fewer chances and hence less goals (4/19 compared with 7/36). Wouldn't we be better off giving Nel all the chances, maybe bringing on Maselesele or Chenene as a sub for fresh legs?
Yes, with one striker we'd have less shooting opportunities, but we'd have an extra defender to shore up the back, or an extra midfielder to create more chances.
I don't know the skills of Chenene as he's not in the database. He looks quite quick, but I'll assume he's not as good as Maselesele since he only comes on as a sub. It seems to me that since we only have one decent striker, we should only play with one. Thoughts?
I just noticed that we also have the situation that, in the last two U21 matches, the wing and Nel are playing with ATT orders but Maselesele is playing with MID orders. This appears to be an error resulting from tinkering with the formation where numbers 9 and 10 were switched in position.

Made an tactic with one striker and 5 defenders for the next match
Cool, it'll be interesting to see how they do, and if the striker can cope being alone up front.
With any luck, some of the other young strikers, like Ngaduana, will be good enough to support Nel properly soon.

Nel continued with his low conversion rate (2/15). In total, he has now scored 6 goals from 34 while Maselesele has scored 7 from 36, despite a big difference in their base shooting ability. Add in the fact that Maselesele played his last two matches as a striker with MID orders, and something doesn't look quite right.
Thanks for giving the single striker a go. It doesn't seem to have made much difference, I suppose. At least we kept a clean sheet (only barely - how about that one that stopped almost on the goal line!), though the opposition admittedly wasn't strong.

Let's hope the 4 goals that Nel did score, will give him a boost.
Yes, that was much better. 4 goals from 11 shots is good. Opposition keeper scored 63.
