What if deroo and some other guy have the same skill
who will you putt on the field ??
who will you putt on the field ??
The one with better form. If the form is the same - then they will play 45min/45min. If there will be two bettter players, so there's only place on the bench, then in one game Deroo and in the second game the other one. :)
Why, Julius doesn't want to tell them?
I might try to do it...we're in the same federation, Civland and have generally a good contact...

By the way, if you are not sure whether to vote for me just because I'm not Belgian, then don't hesitate and vote[for me :p], because in Australia after few seasons I've become a naturalised Aussie! :p
Question 6
Most of the candidates are talking about attracting more users to the game. Do you think that's part of the NT job and if yes, how you would fix that.
Well, the main job of coach is to win everything he can, and from time to time impossible games. ;)
On the other hand attracting users is in my opinion everyone's 'duty', so it is also NT coach's duty.
When I was a coach in Australia I made a decent game promotion, via skype, msn, forums. As far as I remember the effect was that 'population' have gone from ~80 to ~200. So I think it worked quite well, when you consider %, not the amount.
If I become coach of Belgie, I will make a speech, with videos and pictures, and ask Belgie users a favor to translate it. Then I will spam it all over internet ;)
Question 7
* How will you play? Make your own tactics and make them better to your opponent (in the way of Hells), so you have a decent tactic, which is a bit predictable. Or do you regularly change tactics completely to surprise your opponent, with the risk that it'll be nothing.
Well I always concentrate on weak points of the opponent. But it always depends who are you going to play. If a weak team, who has previously encountered weak opponents, then there's no use in checking how they played in those games[unless they always play the same way, because of NT coach low activity]. Instead of that it's better to make a good, offensive tactic because the opponent will try to get a 0:0.
But making a tactic under opponent should always should always take under consideration what players you have. It always must be a combination of tactic under your team, and opponents team, only then you can take max what you can.
* Do you dare to play very risky against a better opponent, like Italy, Spain, ... or do you just try to keep everything close to get a 0-0 or 1-0 in the end?
As risky you mean offensively? Well, yes. All depends on what players will I be able to use, in what form they will be etc. I generally prefer safe games, because as you know in current match engine there are often funny results - like 18:8 in shots, with 1:6 goals ;) So I think that the key to win a game is to have a rock defence.
But it also depends on how everything will work in the new engine, how revolutionary will it be at the end of tests. How high quality players will play. Maybe it will be an urgent need to move to a more offensive style, because without it there won't be many possibilities to score. We will see. :)
* Are you a fan of offside tactics, and how do you work it out if you use it? Against what kind of opponent do you promote an offside tactic?
Yes, I love it! It gives you the full control over the game, if well made. I have a special kind of offside tactics while using 4 defs. Then, if opponents uses high winger, it is often spotted that the high winger will break through the defensive line - and they usually have very high pace and technique, so it's not easy to tackle them then. So I use a DM, who goes to the def line when the ball is on opponents half, so the side defs can play wider without leaving the striker/strikers uncovered.
I have two general strategies.
1) I think it's good to use a offside tactic from time to time. When opponent doesn't suspect it.
2) I think it's good to use an offside tactic very often. And then keep the defence much lower, so that the strikers of opponent will basically run into the defs in front.
Against what kind of opponents...definitely the weak and semi-weak NTs, it is easy to close them down on their half. And teams with low level strikers.
Question 8:
8: how will the new ME change the NT tactics in your opinion?
Well it's still hard to tell because the engine varies each week. After first test it looked almost impossible to score a goal ;) but now it looks much better. I think that now it will be easy to keep possesion in midfield because the players pass a lot between eachothers. So if opponent will use a lot of defs, but for example only 2 mids then he might get almost no ball, if Belgie's playmaking will work good. I must still work out the new 'thinking' of defs, how they react etc. it is very important in my opinion.
What I dislike in new engine, is that the players will pass less to the players who are on offside...it kills the tactical approach in my opinion...
What I like, is limited number of through passes. It was a real non sense when a well prepared tactic was screwed because of 2 through passes from defs, going through whole pitch...
Question 9
What type of defender do you prefer to play against Poland?
Do you choose for the combi def-pace or do you prefer some more secondaries, but of course the combi pace-def is worse in that case.
Well, it all depends on what level of the secondaries it would be. If very low, then I wouldn't risk..if decent, then of course high def + high pace. Can't risk using low secondaries defenders in the center, because if the ball bounces of defender[and they get more passes now because of new match engine!] then it's usually ending with a 1 on 1.

Questions questions questions...please :p
Questions questions questions...please :p
you should be happy not getting question, most of them are a big waiste of time anyways ;)
Hehe quite possible ;-) anyway I'm quite curious how many users read this forum anyway...
the real question is: how many users will change their votes after reading the answers candidates give..
Well yes, but the previous questions is interesting as well :P we had lots of debates, attacks, black public relations etc. in Polish elections. People were just killing for votes. And then we made a little checkout of how many people visit the forum. The result was between 150-200, most of them from people already knowing who to vote for. So all those talks had no influence on the result...
I think that for me it is also bad that those election topics are here, not on sk - Belgie. I think that then more Belgie users would've read my election speech. At least I think so :p

might be true, but that's just the way it is, and you'll have to accept that ;)
but imo, if you really want to become NT-coach of Belgie, you'll have to team up with someone Belgian..

Of course I accept that ;-) just analysing :P
Well it's hard to team up. And what exactly do you mean? One in u21, one in senior NT? Or one in quals, one in finals?
