Got an offer from Bluep to play Belgie vs Eesti game at week 15 as a preparation for World Cup if we both win, and accepted it. So the first game schedule is made, 2nd one is u24 Belgie vs Polska game, a revenge for the u21 World Cup final.

Anyway, the elections are slowly finishing. If anyone still haven't made his mind, I invite him to read my election speech on page one.

i have an offer from Abrek to play Lithania somewhere in the season. IN case you got elected, you can contact him ;)

I'm not sure if Lithuania is a good opponent. Though maybe as a WC preparation...though I'd prefer Eesti, Nederland, USA/England :)

Lietuva is still ranked 11
besides, both Abrek and Sydval are running there, so 2 of the better tacticians of sokker ;)
Though abrek will have problems with the new ME :)

i don't remember the name abrek, really...the guy from the sucky Turkiye defensive tactic?

Anyway the new ME won't be that new...:/ there won't be much playmaking :/ just watch any game today...

ed: my idea is to play against different NTs, and both England and Lietuva use mainly wingers...

maybe you dont like that tactics, but they WERE damn effective during the WC ;)

about the ME ... youre partially right, but for the superdefensive tactics, the new ME is quite dangerous :)

Hm...not sure about this. With not much playmaking, so no back passing, what will make it less effective? Not passing to offside players? Little help. On the other hand they pumped up the defs...

- Players will less often tackle from behind. Instead, they will try to move in front of the player in possession and look for a more favorable angle.
- It will be harder to pass an opponent in the way of an attacker. A good defender will be able to either block or at least slow the attacker somewhat.

So it might make this tactic even more effective...

there is a much bigger chance that defenders make a fault due to bad passing or keeping the ball longer ;)

anyway, i got the same message from Bluep from Eesti and I think we (who ever wins) should take it :)

Hm...but the amount of passing back won't change as far as I know, so the chance of def's fault is the same as before. And they will now kick the ball faster...

did you watch De bondt's performance today? Everytime he got the ball from the winger or central def, he decided to start driblling, failing hard and exposing the whole wing to the opponent ;)

Well today it was quite different than last week, I must agree. Look at minute 25 at Polska game - great playmaking despite some 'weak' players. 4 players passing along eachother. So maybe it will actually be implemented...
