He got tired of te critics he got. He said that those critics weren't crtics anymore but insults etc.

Yup we got a fuss about voting for you or not ;-) belgian nationalism you know.
The currect discussion is about whether you're the best manager, if yes than it would be stupid to vote for someone else. But if you are equal to a belgian manager you're lost.

He felt that he got too harsh (undeserved) criticism from some users.

Well I'm not surprised by that :) though in Belgie it's a lot easier than in Poland, when it won't be that easy to be elected when you are a foreigner. A lot of our community doesn't speak English, so it would be a big communication barrier...

As for nationalism...well it's understandable, there are nationalist persons in every country. We had lots of people complaining when Beenhakker was made our NT coach, though I like that move and I support this guy all the time :)
