Wie ben ik ?

neoatomium, aka Allard Jonathan, 24 jaar, en student aan de UCL. Ik hou van voetbal en bier zoals elke goede Belg. Ik heb het geluk om in echte ‘bierstad’ te wonen, Ciney. Ik ben tweetalig Frans/Engels. Spijtig genoeg heb ik wat problemen met het Vlaams. Ik kan +/- alles correct lezen, maar het grootste probleem is toch het schrijven. Maar geen probleem alles zal zeer snel vertaald worden ;-)

Ervaring met Sokker :

Ik speel zowat 3 jaar en een half Sokker en in deze periode heb ik denk ik toch een succesvolle weg afgelegd : 12 seizoenen, 10 podiumplaatsen.
Op internationaal niveau: Ik heb geen ervaring op internationaal niveau maar ik volg België al een lange tijd alsook de ploegen waar ik een ex-speler heb spelen. Ik denk niet dat het gebrek aan ervaring problemen zal opleveren, want ik heb altijd goed mijn plan kunnen trekken (je me suis toujours bien debrouiller), wat het niveau ook was. Ik kan ook rekenen op ‘de anciens’ voor goed avies.

Op nationaal niveau : Ik ben er in geslaagd een vaste waarde te worden in 2de klasse. Ik heb of had verschillende jeugdspelers in het nationaal team. Ik heb weet van het gemiddeld niveau van de internationale ploegen.
Ik start mijn 6de seizoen in 2de klasse (2.02) met 4 titels (5de klasse, 4de klasse en 2x 3de klasse), 4 2de plaatsen (3x in 3de klasse) en 2 3de plaatsen (2x 2de klasse).

Persoonlijk succes : Ik ben bij de weinige managers die 3 titels/promoties op een rij hebben behaald. In 1 keer van 5de klasse naar 2de klasse.
Ik ben de eerste Belgische manager die een “briljante” verdediging heeft behaald.

Goals :
- Het opsporen van zoveel mogelijk talent als we kunnen zodat we onze kern kunnen vergroten
- Zo dicht mogelijk eindigen bij die 1ste plaatst op de wereldrangschikking
- Halve finale of niets! We hebben een goede kern met genoeg potentieel om het eerste officiële WK te winnen.
- Het NT zo goed mogelijk beheren met het oog op de toekomst en voor mijn opvolger

Voor de tactieken zal ik mij baseren op mijn eigen tactische kennis. Ik ben een fan van 4-4-2 en het gebruik van vleugelspelers maar ik ben in staat om andere kwaliteitvolle tactieken te maken.
Ivm het forum: Jullie moeten geen schrik hebben om een ‘franstalige’ manager te verkiezen. Voor de wedstrijden zal ik de lange berichten eerst in het Engels posten want dat bespaart me toch heel wat tijd. Ik zal daarna altijd managers contacteren die mij zullen helpen met vertalingen. Misschien zal ik niet alles direct verstaan maar ik doe mijn best (en het zal een goede oefening zijn want waarschijnlijk doe ik mijn thesis bij een Vlaams bedrijf).

Ik zal gebruik maken van de oefenmatchen om kleine toernooien te organiseren om zo de andere jeugdspelers, die waarschijnlijk nooit het niveau halen van het A team, de kans te geven om te spelen.

Ik heb altijd al gedroomd om bondscoach te worden van een nationaal team. Ik kon de makkelijkste weg gekozen hebben om voor een Franstalig land te gaan, maar mijn voorkeur gaat toch naar mijn eigen land. En ik weet dat ik het aan de top kan brengen.

Crew :

Ik heb nog geen crew bijeen gezocht en zal dat ook niet onmiddellijk doen. Ik wil geen mensen lastig vallen voor niets als ik niet verkozen zou worden. Als ik verkozen raak, dan zal ik zorgvuldig mijn crew samenstellen, want dat is belangrijk met het oog op de toekomst. Iedereen heeft kans. De enige voorwaarden zijn:
1/ gemotiveerd zijn
2/ gemotiveerd zijn
3/ 100% gemotiveerd zijn

1 vacature is al ingevuld, tactische supervisor : Hells, die wat van zijn tijd zal opofferen als ik in de problemen zit.
In het kort zal de crew bestaan uit U21 en U19 scouts. Verder een verantwoordelijke voor de database en iemand voor de communicatie. Verder zal ik ook advies inwinnen bij 'anciens' die internationale ervaring hebben.

Hoe ga jij ervoor zorgen dat jeugdspelers beter opgevolgd worden? Zouden er volgens u meer spelers in de DB gezet moeten worden? Ga je dat zelf doen, of ga je op je scouts vertrouwen?

The most important is to make good choice in selecting the scouts. A motivated and experienced scout will make a better work. That's the reason why I want to select my crew carefully. I will supervise personally and do my part of work not to let all the work on my scouts shoulders and to make sure the work is done perfectly.

Het belangrijkste is om de juiste scouts te kiezen. Een gemotiveerde en ervaren scout zal beter werk leveren. Dat is de reden waarom ik mijn staff zorgvuldig wil samenstellen. Ik zal persoonlijk het werk opvolgen en ervoor zorgen dat het correct verdeeld en perfect uitgevoerd

Dan blijft de resterende vraag, heb je genoeg ervaring om meteen op de allereerste (!!) WC U21 aan de slag te gaan..?

Sure the level of the WC is quite high but the 2de.02 level also :) The level of our National Team is more or less the same as my strongest opponent this season and I think I did not that bad. I know how to play at high level. I will "discover" the WC (that's still different than a national league) but I don't think my lack of experience will be a problem because I always could adapt myself to every level. Additionally, I'm not alone. I can count on experts like Hells to give good advices and who have a perfect knowledge of the international level.

Uiteraard is het niveau van de WC redelijk hoog, maar dit geld ook voor mijn 2.02 klasse. Het niveau van onze NT is min of meer hetzelfde als dat van mijn sterkste concurrent dit seizoen en ik denk dat ik dat niet slecht deed. Ik kan op hoog niveau werken. Ik zal de WC ontdekken (dat is nog altijd verschillend van een gewone 2de klasse) maar ik denk niet dat mijn gebrek aan ervaring een probleem zal zijn want ik ben altijd in staat geweest om me aan te passen aan eender welk niveau. Daarbij ben ik niet alleen. Ik kan rekenen op experten zoals Hells die een perfecte kennis heeft van internationale competitie.

Belgium is getting smaller and smaller in sokkerworld. Do you see it as your task to improve that? How could we get more users?

It is not my task to do that but of all the community. This is a hard work because it does not depend on us but mainly of our friends/mates/colleagues and especially depends on sokker itself. In the past we already spammed a lot in different games like Hattick and it didn't work. It worked a little time where we reached 3500 managers I think and look where we are now : 1500. People doesn't stay not because we have a poor/bad community but because the design burns eyes... and there's not a lot we can do about it. The lack of changes during those last 3 seasons didn't help too.

You know your opponent will play a 5 3 2 (or 5 2 3) line up, looking like this on the average positionning screen. You don't know if the defenders will play on same distance or if the wingback will be playing more towards the wing. Nor do you know if the strikers will be playing in the centre or more onto the wings. So basically all you know is that youre opponent is going to play 5 defs and 2 low central mids/defmids, 1 winger and 2 strikers.

So you can get both winger attacks against you, and running passes. Do you think this involves you have to play 5 defs and 2 (or 3) defmids? What would you do if there might be a chance you dont face a winger, but another central defender. Btw, if you want it more visualised, check the games from Eesti against Belgie and against Chile on the WC group stages.

In short : I know my opponent is gonna play Counter-Attack but I don't know if he's using wingers or not.

1) I'm in U21 so maybe it is not necessary to play with 5 defenders
2) I don't know the skills of our defenders so I cannot say with precision if 4 or 5 are required :) (but I guess they should be around double brilliant/double magical like Tasak/Vanderelst were). But with senior team I play with 5 defenders for sure ;-)
3) My winger(s) will be the key. You can't go through a defence with 6, 7 or 8 defensive players. You have to play on the wings when it's like that. It's one on one but we have more chance than 3 DEF vs 1 ATT.
4) If they are extremely defensive I don't think using more defensive midfielders is the solution when you already play with 5 defenders :) You take 5 defenders, you take 5 offensive players and you pray your defence won't explode in your hands ;) (what I don't expect 5 defenders vs 2 strikers + De Vos or Bruyne in the goal).

Le_Sorcier is a very good manager and a reactive manager.
If I were him I would notice that we generally play with 3 defenders against weak teams and with 5 defenders against more valuable teams.
If I were Le_Sorcier I will bet that you will play with 5 defenders ==> I will use at least 2 ATT.

He probably knows that we always play with one winger (sometimes 2) AND THIS ONE CAN CHANGE SIDE !! He doesn't know in which side the winger will be (and he seems quite good) so he will probably try to play with 5 defenders or 4 defenders very wide with a MID-DEF in the center.

So I think he will play like this

But from what I analysed the only time he played with 5 defenders he got a very huge defeat and since he always played with 4 defenders even against the strongest teams. It is likely he choses a tactic like his second match against England than his first match against them.

In that case I think we can lower a bit the defense because his attack is really low too (we will always be in front of his strikers). The strikers against Nederlands are a bit high but since his defence is really low I think it should be ok. Anyway we have a winger a little bit in the back of the strikers (and he shouldn't be offside too much).
The tactic you used against Nederlands is not bad to beat a team like France : they have good strikers so we need enough defenders. It is likely he plays in 4-2-2-2 or 4-3-1-2 (I think it will be this one) so 2 strikers + 1 winger are ok to cause trouble in the defence. There is just the places of Flamini, Eben and Vanthornhout I will make play a bit higher (not them but the players that will play at their places). I don't know the stats of our NT players but I think we can believe that our defenders are good enough to stop opponent's strikers. In fact I think (against Nederlands) Eben and Vanthornhout are too defensive and I would make them play a bit higher to be more offensive. But once again, I don't know entirely their stats so I cannot say more.

For the moment I'm EXTREMELY busy. My two 'farouvite' (eeeeeeerk) professors moved at the last second their exams just on the same day = tomorrow :X (reason I wasn't too active those last days)
Then Tuesday I have to empty my kot and give the keys back to the owner so it will be another very busy day :P
Wednesday I'll fully concentrate on the team, the staff and the tactic.
