Subject: [NT] Hells

Ik denk dat elke NT coach met eenzelfde reeks motieven zit.
-graag spelen
-prestaties bereiken
-stukje liefde voor een land (bij sommigen)
-...

Voila dat lijkt mij ook bij iedereen hetzelfde. Al kan ik dat stukje liefde voor een land iets minder begrijpen als het over een onnozel internetspelletje gaat :p

Den Borkos was hier een graag geziene pee op het forum voor zijn verkiezing. Ik vind het een beetje spijtig dat dat nu blijkbaar niet meer mogelijk is.

Oh, maar Borkos is nog steeds graag gezien door mij!
Voor het NT heb ik echter nooit op hem gestemd. Ook al is het maar een internetspelletje ... Chauvinist tot in de kist!

Voor mij geen buitenlanders meer die onze nationale ploeg gebruiken als hun speelgoed. Ok, het is misschien triest voor Borkos maar dat moest hij zien aankomen hebben. Hij heeft een paar weken geleden al eens aan het polsen geweest en daar kwam hij toch niet goed uit.
Een paar maanden geleden had ik die discussie met Borkos en nu krijg ik toch gelijk. Mijnheer stelt zich nu kandidaat in Italie. Op zoek naar een topteam om toch maar te kunnen meespelen aan de top van de sokkerwereld. En hij laat Belgie zonder structuur en zonder prijs achter.

Belgie was never a toy for me...I had long plans connected with Your NT, just in lasy half year I have a lot of work, believe me. I even sold my team to have more time. Writing my degree paper, learning French for B2 certificate, starting learning Italian, learning how to drive a car :p, also working on a internet vortal...is quite a lot, at least for me.

But Belgie was never a toy, I always staid till 4-5am making the tactics, changing players etc. The DB is in good condition, even though I had no scouts cause no one wanted to help me...

Toy? Never...

As for Italy - it's my favourite NT in real world, Juve is my favourite team...I always wanted to start there, never had an opportunity though. When Hells joined elections it was sure I'll lose...I had 1/25 votes, even Steaua had more votes :| I got more votes in Italy after same time...

It's not that nobody likes you. Even Myt9 just comes to say that he likes you (even though he has yet to call you 'shoe', like he does with his best friends). But it's very difficult to swallow (again, even for Myt9) that our national football team is being lead by a foreigner. Belgians are very nationalistic, you know;)
We rather go down with hells at the helm (probably somewhere mid-season:p) than another year with, you know, someone from somewhere else. We're not racist, you know, but you know:)

Yeah, I understand. And that's why I wasn't even fighting, I knew that the elections were over as soon as they started.

Just wanted to say about my decision, because it might've looked as if I'm just collecting the top NTs...Poland Belgie Eesti, now Italy...it's not like that. Poland - understandable. Eesti - they needed a good coach without own candidate, I had some exp after Australia back then, decided to give it a try with big NT. Belgie - Deroo + some spammers:) + nice community.

Now Italy...my favorite NT in RL, great culture, thrilling expectations and ambitions of Italian users + I want to learn Italian, but can't motivate myself. Now I have to learn it to win in elections...without Italian I hav no chance there. :)

As mentioned by ChickNorris, as a person I 'can really dig you' ;) But, I prefer a Belgian manager as this makes communication easier. Most people at the Belgian fora are able to communicate in English, but not all. And some use a kind of pidgin English, because they do not know how to express themselves that well. And sometimes there are even real life friends who want to take over the NT, which creates an extra dimension for creating enthusiasm about the NT.
But, borkos, you have done quite well! And above, you're a fine person.

Borkos zijn eerste campagne vond ik goed maar het laatste seizoen heb ik niet echt meer gevolgd wegens mindere intereses....anyway Borkoss, good job, i think :p

Toen jij BC was, was er idd meer interesse int NT.. maar er waren ook gewoon meer (actieve) gebruikers toen.. sokker belgie is ondertussen meer dan gehalveerd, veel van de oude garde zijn ook al gestopt.. kdenk aan borabora, slupmi, dorango, wiks, technobear, etc... Dusja, ik denk niet dat jouw kandidatuur hier verandering in zal brengen.. Het feit dat alles int nederlands gebeurd zal iets helpen natuurlijk maar zal toch peanuts zijn met wat het vroeger was. Tijden veranderen en die tijd is voorgoed voorbij.

@ borkos: I know you haven't really heard from me a lot during your time as NT-coach of Belgium but I just wanted to thank you for the time and work you've put in.. great job and good luck with the elections in Italy.
