def die op winger verdedigde kreeg rood en defmid ging op die positie, die defmid bleek heel belangrijk te zijn in het evenwicht van het spel :s

you didnt set the trow ins or korner kicks....
you must improove that.

2cnd thng you dont help your wingback by closing a second def to thew wing.

the defmid was supposed to be in the correct position for those throw ins
but that defmid took the defenders place :s

I paid attention to it but red card messed up the whole tactic

anyway close game which could go either way eventually but another win :)

It was a close match and mexico was more dangerous than anticipated :-)

I personally think it's a bad idea to put your defence line high in the middle line. I personally think it's better to do so on the third line starting from below (out of some bad experience ;-))

And you are a bit lucky that Benoit scored, because he (they?) often couldn't do any damage as they just ran into the defence..

But congrats with the victory, I think we deserved it anyway :-)

we shot twice on post or crossbar on empty goal, and they had 3 real chances, they used in last minute.
i knew it will be close game, cause Mexico is better set than england and has similar stats.

anyhow 6 points from hard games, now less pressure and we shall use more 20yo guys

That's why I said we deserved it ;-) Don't be a pussy and look at this as constructive comment :-P

There were a lot of last minute tackles of their defenders, but you have to admit, that if all our strikers could only shoot 2 times at goal max, that we were a bit lucky with scoring 2 goals (certainly because one of the goals was made by a midfielder). And Mexico always looked a bit dangerous by their winger...

But, we deserved the win, let that be clear ;-)

and yes - we had few chances, because i set the atts too deep when ball was on our half:/
we couldnt play nice counter attacks, because the ball landed at strobbe and he had 5 defenders before him.

anyway our def showed great potential, their striker was rated 70 (wow) and had no real chance..:)
ads you maybe know, we lack at quality on the ATT position comparing to other top NT`s, so dont expect lots of goals scored, better prepare on few conceded:)
