Wihs us good luck!

Ps

If their squad will be stronger, then you should use 21yo players too :)
2011-12-08 18:36:54
why? we will play stronger teams in WC mostly, so it will be at leas a test
2011-12-08 18:45:00
We can not afford to lose against weaker opponent if we want to keep Belgium high on ranking.

Also, it's good to play with U20/U19 one, maybe two times in a season, but U21 should play most games. In long terms (for NT), it's always better to let play U21 most games every season.

i've also reservations about the current age policy but in any case: good luck :)
2011-12-08 18:51:50
pfff, who cares some ranking or stuff. we are to win a medal on Wc or what?
what are your goals? kicj\k zimbabwe 50-0 all the time just to keep rank up or prepare to WC as good as possible?
2011-12-08 18:56:00
High rank is not most important thing, but we are already 8th on ranking. Long time ago we were so low on ranking. (I don't say this is your fault btw)
Most important goal is to have best possible NT in a few seasons.
If you don't play U21 one season, NT will always feel consequences of this in later stadium. Managers might lose interest and stop training U21 players.

Well my ignorant friend, I guess you don't like hearing this... but my guess is that the Belgian community isn't liking you're style.
We are used tot seeing 21 year olds on the field and we would like to see that happen. It's a pitty we've got to put up with you as u21-NT coach till next election.
I'm not one of them but you'r depriving a lot of managers of seeing his or her 21 year old players.

Next time keep it in the family guys and vote for a Belgian coach.

Please don't shoot loczenty right away now :) He's getting good results, and I don't doubt his qualities as a manager. I just don't like his age policy, that's all
2011-12-08 19:07:12
i said i will play U20 guys, you voted me and i do that what i promissed.
i see myself clear and if you dont like it than start elections for your own - its not prohibited
2011-12-08 19:08:51
I know you said it, and that's the only reason why I didn't vote for you :)
2011-12-08 19:23:41
lol:P
im focused on a specific goal, and if it dont botrher other minor goals (like winning games) i guess its allright.
anyway i want to win against Cyprus tomorrow, and all other games as well finishing with maximum points in tha group and having some decent players already selected and tested. And whats most important having a specific tactics slected for those players!
2011-12-09 16:20:55
timing for this friendly: 2011-12-09 19:29
2011-12-09 20:22:26
hm a draw would have been more correct but i'd say the tactic did not fit the players or vice versa. in any case belgium lacked the controll of the ball possession in the midfield to play with slow defenders in a high defense (which is already like asking for trouble anyway).
2011-12-09 20:32:29
yeah, we couldnt catch them going with counter attacks. but still we managed to miss a penalty:/
w got 53% bal posession and played 65% on their half:/
just bad defending and their great goal-efficiency made us loose:/
2011-12-09 20:52:39
you should have won this one always...
