Pavoniana to All
Greetings to all Belgian users.
I am Pavoniana , the current Australian coach Under 21 . I could not write before today , because I was busy in the final of the Asia / Oceania Cup: Yesterday I played the final and for my fortunately Australia has won the Cup!

My real name is Cristian and for many seasons , pretty much ever since I joined , I follow the national.

So far I've been lucky enough to train :
- Italy NT for a match (1 win)
- Italy Under21 for a match (1 draw)
- Australia U21 for season 5 (52 win, 7 draw, 19 lose)
- Staff U21 I also had the good fortune to be part of the team STAFF that won the WORLD CUP UNDER-21!

In Australia U21 I reached these goals :
- Won the Cup Asia / Oceania
- Qualify at the World Cup and play World Cup
- +23 position. Increased the ranking of the national under-21 from the 50th to the 27th current.

I would be interested in coaching the Under21 Belgium to start a project similar to what I carried on for 5 seasons in Australia Under21.

I would be very happy to take on the job of my friend Fabbrogas. Thanks to him, I could see the DATABASE of Belgium and I can say that the team for the next season will be a great team!

Greetings to all,
Pavoniana

Some trivia: my nickname is Pavoniana, but my real name is Cristian Pavone. In Italy Pavone means peacock. My nickname and my team logo she derive precisely from this! :)
I have 32 years. I play real soccer and I have a license to football coach until the Italian fourth division.

- Helping coaches Belgian to improve young players
- Follow and improve the development of young players who are active in foreign teams

Why the Belgian U21? What is your knowledge about our U21-squad?

Why the Belgian U21?

I chose Belgium because I wanted to try it, after 5 years in Australia, to manage a team with a workforce stronger and more able to compete against all other teams.
Unfortunately coaching Australia, I realized that we could not always do wonders with the players I had available.
In addition, in Australia I think I achieved the maximum, winning the Asian Cup and Oceania and play the World Cup.

I like Belgium and my friend Fabbrogas me has always spoken well to it!

I love to coach teams Under21, because I think that a good coach can make a difference!

What is your knowledge about our U21-squad?

I must say I'm lucky, because Fabbrogas it allowed me to look at your database, and I saw a team that I like.
I looked the current 20y players and I saw that:

GK: There are 5 goalkeepers strong and others that are growing well... the role is well covered! ;)

DEF: there are many strong players in the primaries but, in my opinion, with little technique. In any case, even in this department young people that are growing are many and with particularities also different from each other. Lack of phenomena, but the players we have, I think that ensure a good defensive solidity!

MID: is a department of the normal level. There aren't great players and missing a wing. But you can take advantage of the characteristics of the players present, to set a type of game that will enable them to do their best.

ATT: I really like the attackers . There are so many and some are even stronger in secondary skills (defense , playmaker, pass). I think we can often play with three strikers .

Do you have acces to our database already? Because I wonder if you could name some of the players or approx estimate their skills ;-)

As I said, I saw the skills of the players thanks to my friend fabbrogas. So, if I were elected, I not have to do everything in a hurry in the early days, when we will have to play the hardest game of the season, in our qualifying group to the next World Under21! ;)

Question: I can post the skill of players entered in the NT database in this forum?
2014-03-26 09:37:41
No, it's better not to..

So, which players are your favorites for every position and why?
2014-03-26 09:51:06
First you need to make an introduction: the FORM of the players is the first prerequisite for play or not play. So this factor can change the values in the range and in the choices of every good coach, match by match.
Then, of course, every coach has his own scale of values and skills for each department. But even here, this scale of values can change with the kind of tactics that a coach wants to set for a given match.
So it is not easy to answer, but I will try to do the same! :)

In this moment, Cyril Ryckeghem [27733149] is the best GK for me.

I look for goalkeepers:
1) GK
2) Pace and Tactical Discipline

These are the main values. After I watching the rest!

P.S.: Obviously I look and judge the players who have 20 years now and soon it will turn in 21y! ;)
