Jurkasz [del] to All
Welcome, gentlemen! :)

I know I'll have to work extra hard to satisfy everyone as some of you are not really happy to see a foreigner as the coach of the national team. I hope you can still accept me sooner or later.

As I mentioned in my campaign thread, I will need scouts who can help me gathering the skills of the players. Only Grexx can continue his work as a MID-scout, so the following positions are open:
- GK-scout
- DEF-scout
- ATT-scout
If you're interested, apply here or via SK-mail.

We also have a full schedule finally, it looks like this:

week 2: Bosnia i Hercegovina (WCQ)
week 3: U.A.E. (WCQ)
week 4: Polska (Friendly)
week 5: El Salvador (WCQ)
week 6: Nippon (WCQ)
week 7: Honduras (WCQ)
week 8: Romania (Friendly)
week 9: Honduras (WCQ)
week 10: Nippon (WCQ)
week 11: El Salvador (WCQ)
week 12: Nederland (Friendly)
week 13: U.A.E. (WCQ)
week 14: Bosnia i Hercegovina (WCQ)
week 15: België (Friendly)
week 0: España (Friendly)
week 1: Magyarország (Friendly)

Friendly schedule is very nice :)
2009-09-02 09:43:10
indeed!
love the friendly schedule!

and if some wonder why i resign from my scout position - it has nothing to do with lack of respect toward our new coach - it was lack of time, lack of motivation and current connection problems.

looking forward of the games (and friendlies) and will take part of the betting contest as soon as ill get my connection solved.

Let's see... tomorrow we'll going to play with Bosna i Hercegovina.

Bosna i Hercegovina declared independence from Yugoslavia in 1992, but half of the people living there are still Serb or Croat. They are bordering Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.
About 4 and a half million people live there on 51,129 km^2. Their capital city is Sarajevo, it's also the largest one with about 300 thousand inhabitants. Sarajevo can be familiar for you from the history books as well, in 1914 Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife was assassinated here, and that was the event what triggered World War I.
The city also held the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, which has been the biggest sport event in the country until now.

Sokker

They are occupying the 29th position in the world ranking. Currently they have 616 users, and their league entered to its 13th season, so they definitely have some power in their hands.
They have never played in the World Cup, but they are closer and closer every time, and it looks like they'll made it now, since they are definitely the strongest contestant for the second place in the group.

Previous matches between the two countries:
2006-08-19 Bosna i Hercegovina 0:3 Eesti
2006-10-28 Eesti 1:0 Bosna i Hercegovina

Their NT-coach is kulixix, to be honest he's not even familiar to me.
He is playing the first division of Bosnia, won it once and he also played two cup finals from which he won one.

I won't go into tactical analysis here (I will do that Sunday though), but I still have two things to say:

- The first thing is that our offense will have a lot of top players missing due to low form and injuries, I hope they'll recover both their health and form very soon because we'll need them in the Top Teams Tournament :) From the looks of it, our opponent has similar problems (at least with the forms).

- The second thing is that tomorrow I'm going to a Hattrick-Sokker meeting, so I won't be here to watch the match live. Therefore I can't provide you a starting eleven just before the match unfortunately.

And I still need scouts, please apply :)

Congrats on the win!

I haven`t watched the game, but scoring three goals and keeping our goal untouched is always a good thing. I see my striker got slightly injured second week in row. I guess that`s a good luck. It can always go worse:)

Hey congrats 4 the win.

Now that you have players skills what do you think about our lineup strenght vs other top teams ?

Eesti 3:0 Bosna i Hercegovina

Tactics: I hate playing against unknown coaches since I don't know what to expect. Kulixix usually plays 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 with his club team without wingers, but it was obvious that he won't use a 3-man defense against us. Personally, I expected 4-4-2 without a winger. I was half-right about that.

The match: according to the betting contest, you expected a higher score, and it could have been higher indeed. If I don't screw up throw-ins entirely, if I prepare to play against a winger, if Kole doesn't get injured, etc. Or if Bosnia doesn't play this good, because they were playing much better than I thought they will.
However, I think our defense worked pretty well and our offense created a lot of opportunities too. And we're also one step closer to having conceded zero goals in the qualifying :)

Players: Nõlvak was simply awesome in the goal. From the defense, I'd like to mention Alonen, who had a lot of work, but he managed to keep their winger on his toes and he also gave some quality passes to the midfielders. Matak also played very well on the other side.
On the midfield, Lillemets played fairly good as a defensive mid, Ruttu stole the ball from his opponent almost every time, while Ritsik was totally unstoppable, he had more than enough free space to play at his best. On the other hand, I think Arjasepp can play better than this, he lost the ball quite a few times and he also had problems with handling the balls he got. Fortunately his passes were good enough.
Kole missed a lot of chances, but he was injured, so I don't blame him for that. A hat-trick is a hat-trick anyway :) Kivilaid and Okas had only a few opportunities, unfortunately the Bosnian keeper was hard to beat for them this time.

Next week: we're playing against the U.A.E. and we should score 20+

Thanks :)
I'd rather send my opinion in SK-mail are you okay with that too?

Täiesti võimalik, et ostan ta isegi trenni alla, kuna mu 17-aastased ei "taha" väga kiirelt areneda. Tont seda teab, mis neil viga on.

U.A.E.

The United Arab Emirates is a federation of 7 emirates, namely Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Qaiwain. They are existing in this form since 1971.
There's about 4 and a half million people living here (2009 estimate, although the last census in 2000 registered only 2 and a half million people) on 83 600 km^2. The country has the 6th largest oil-reserves and is one of the richest countries in the world. Its capital city is Abu Dhabi.
Their biggest sport achivement is probably their qualification for the 1990 World Cup, but they're going to held a F1 race from this year on.

Sokker
This is only their 3rd season in the game, and also their very first season for the NT. They have only 10 users and they occupy the 50th position on the world ranking.
U.A.E lost its first NT-match against Nippon, the result was a devastating 19-0. Obviously, Eesti never played against them before.

Their NT-coach is the Portuguese linguist, Multiskill. About a week ago he wanted to resign from being an NT-coach due to the lack of time on his hands, so I guess he won't put up too much of a fight. Not that they will be able to even if they want :)

We're going to play very offensive, I'll announce the starting eleven a few minutes before the match.
