Subject: [NT] Macedonia

Well, this Saturday we are facing Macedonian national team. Although it is the second weakest team in our group, it is a pretty strong opponent for our team... I hope that luck will help us and we will achieve at least almost impossible draw ;)

We will be playing again at 11am so be ready :)

PS: I will bring you more info in our association forum when I find them out myself ;)

Although we lost 5:0 I hope you enjoyed the match... I tried to make it as interesting as I could. Unfortunately it was pretty difficult for our players to achieve something because opponents' players were much better but sometimes quite nice actions of our players were seen :) Few shots may have even turned to goal but mistake-free Daci stopped them....

Few goals were on account of Gennadiou's red card. Next time I will introduce conditional orders to cover red card in the center of our defense...

I will appreciate any comments :)


PS: I'm looking forward to next Saturday match against Kenya. I hope we will may manage to win with a great score - if Kenian coach sets the line up...

I am always watching, but not always have the time to comment .
I find the fact that we are playing with our young generation very good,this is the way to improve our NT.If the 28 old useless players leave the team and maybe some of the 17-18 year old stars take some matches-since realistically we can't take any points from the other teams(except maybe from Salvador) that might be a good thaught, what do you think?,that way we also improve our U21.

I don't want to use the old generation. They are even weaker than our generation of 22-23 years old... :) I think it would be good if we try some of young stars (eg. Pakkos or Nabi) - I could even give them a NT start on Saturday because Kenian team should be pretty weak even for them :)

But on the other hand I don't want to use them on such teams like we have in our qualification group because it would lead to losses like 20:0 or so (we may even lose like this anyway but I hope it will be better ;))

I agree with you on not using the older generation! I find many players on roster that in my opinion should not be a part of the team, but the 3 older giorgallides,drakos and katsiaris do not have the potential to do something better.Maybe some of the younger players too.
I personally do not have a problem losing 20-0 if we will promote our strong players with future that we know are talented and get full training.This way we will have a stronger NT in the future.

I know... But using the young generation is the task for Giorgos :) I don't want to break in his task... But I have already capped Erdem and will give him few minutes on Saturday (if Kenya accepts - I am a bit nervous about it ;))

I have few old players in my team because I don't know their skills at all... So I want to keep them there for a few days and if their owners doesn't respond my mails I would fire them (but probably I would fire them if I get the skills anyway ;)) Just I don't have them in NTDB so if I fire them from NT I will forget them forever ;)

/edit: I would like to give a try to Pakkos too, but he is already in U21 squad so I will use only Erdem if Giorgos doesn't want him ;)

I was referring to the younger generation with our really top players aged 21+,or if there are some 16-20 year old players who are not in the U21 but they have the potential to be stars in the future.

I am playing usually with team aged 22-24 years old - Only if there is no appropriate player I would go for old generation...

I know about one another young player who is still without NT match, so I will give him a try :) The most important is to care about our future stars :)

I don't know how to treat Zoitsas - he is still our best player but he is without owner so there is no place for training. And moreover I don't know his current skills ;)

I have no opinion regarding Zoitsas,you should talk it with darren i think,he should know what to do and he will be able to calculate if he is still gonna be the best player we will have even if untrained,when he will be released from the bot team.

I am playing with 22-25 aged players :) They are simply the best :)
