Magandang Tanghale!

Dear Pinoy managers, as my Tagalog is not good enough to write in your language, I will use english instead.
This is the first time I am applying for a position like this.
The reason I chose the Philippines, is that my girlfriend is Filipina, I have spent some time there, and if all goes well, over half of my family will be Filipino within a few years :-)

What makes this very interesting for me, is that this country is so small in Sokker, and therefore will be underdog in almost every match. The pool of players to use is simply not big enough to play a big role in the Sokker-World.
But... During my Sokker-career of 5 seasons, I have always been able to perform better tactically then one would expect judged by the strenght of my players.
As a bit of proof, you could look here:
http://sokker.cz/?pg=8&idC=12
Then go to division D.39, and check the stats of FC Wageningen. Being #6 in Team Rating and #4 in player rating, I still managed to become first of my league. It's something I am quite proud of, and it gives me the confidence to apply for this job :-)

If you have any questions, please post them and I will reply as soon as possible.

Thank you, Sliv

(ps I posted this in another Pilipinas forum before I saw this one was more active.. did not mean to spam)

how you will support the philippine community?

Hello Bulacaneo,

Because the Community is very small, I will try to get in contact with every single PH manager. I want to get data of every player that is young enough for the U21, and I want to check the transfer history of every team to check for interesting players who play in foreign countries.

Besides that, there are a few different ideas:
* discuss with active managers what changes could/should be made in the [U21], and of course keep good communication with the [NT] coach.
* Try to organise a friendly Cup for Asian countries only. As Asia does not have too many managers yet, maybe we could be a serious contender for the Asian Championship?
* Like many European countries already do, we could organise a special friendly-day at the end of the season, where for instance 15 managers would play a friendly match against 15 managers from a country of similar size. Countries like Singapore or Hong Kong could be perfect for that purpose.
It is a nice way of getting a "us versus them" feeling, which is good to build friendship between Filipinos and respect for the other countries.
* I'll be open for suggestions, and if somebody wants my help or advise, I'm always willing to help.
* Another little thing that might help: My girlfriend could help me with translations if communication in Taglish does not work well enough ;-)

Greetings, Sliv

So Bulacaneo, how is the community from a forum point of view? Are you the only active forummer or are there more?
