Subject: Coach Trez for PST Coach

why should you vote for me?
First, how can a filipino manager improve his coaching ability if he's not given a chance to experience coaching the NT team.
if we will not let filipino to handle a position meant for filipino, then when would it be?
it's true experience is the best teacher then how can we measure the ability of filipino managers if we will be deprive to experience the position and let a foreign handle it that i believe the reason why he's here is that he is not that experienced yet other than the other managers in his country and try to get the position of PST Coach over the other filipino managers who is dedicated to help the country improve it's status...
we lack experience because we let other handle it.
Second, i'm willing to learn and share what i learn to other filipino managers so that together we grew and not only the NT coach...The relationship between NT coach and other managers is vital so that they can play as a team....I'm willing to give my time talking to them about how to improve NT team and the teams we are handling...I want them to feel they're part of the NT Team, I will always ask for opinions from other players every after the game so that we will know our weakness and our strength and try to improve every game...
Third, i'm willing to let players Under 21yrs. old play for PST U21 for them to experience more before entering the PST after they reach 21 or 22 unless the U21 team don't need them...We will prioritize first the U21 than PST because i know time will come they will grew older and well experienced enough to be in PST...

Right On. Go Trez go. I appreciate your courage in doing this. I learned in Canada its much better for a country to grow from within even if you make more mistakes in the beginning. What is important is to create national pride and chemistry within.
Living here I also realize that many Filipinos are far more comfortable with Tagalog or Visayan. Its is therefore vital that manager candidates have knowledge of this, so that some managers dont get left behind. Foreign managers abroad may not understand this.
Good luck. You have my vote and full support.

Thanks, actually i think before of quiting in running as NT coach as i lack experience yet but i read the post of other foreign managers who downgrade filipinos and i think i need to pursue of having this position. I've read also your posts and it inspire me to continue. I'm not afraid even though i'm not experienced but the important thing is i'm willing to learn and i think bulacaneo knew it, he's my mentor...i owe him a lot...if he decided to run i will give way to him but as long as no filipinos aspire this position i will pursue of running whatever it takes as long as filipinos is on my side to help me...i will offer myself for flag and help improve our status in international arena of Soccer...

Goodluck. I hope you had made your intentions known before. Lets recruit other pinoys to play this great game. The more the merrier.
the idea and purpose is good, but the question is can you handle it?
Sam
Give the guy a chance. Of course his not going to be as perfect at the technical aspects of coaching as some of these foreigners that what to coach are club. Do you really think they have feeling for the Philippines?
Do you really think your going to have a lively and active pinoy forum with foreigners in control? My guess is they will continue to act in they same self righteous and condescending manor as they are now. I also believe that some knowledge of Tagalog and Visayan is essential for any candidate. Many Filipinos are far more comfortable with this. No one should be left out.
It your choice. I would love to run, but as a Canadian it would be completely hypocritical to everything I said. What really want to see is what I learned in Canada. Confident brave candidates from within are 1000 times better than outsiders.

etc.
it's some very simple question. pls answer me.

as i told you in the other topic, he can ask more experience manager who know it. as long he have enough time, walang problema ( no problem).
i'm calm, but if someone tells me that i'm doing something only to show off or whatever he thinks, it's not cool with me.
this guy doesn't know me at all, he sees that me and bobbaz are trying to help out all of you and he writes shit like this...
wouldn't you react the same as me?

so it's not important how many training get a filipino player? it's not important how can help him for the filipino usrers to get good juniors? it's not importan what play your NT against same strong teams?
nothing is important, only that he is a filipino. he don't know nothing from this game, he cant help for other users, because he need help too.
i'm really dumb, because i don't understand your oppinion at all.
you know what darren patterson did in cyprus? then you will understand how to raise a NT team!
and next time i will answer you here. :)

i'm not referring to the tactical aspects, its with regards to the pressure and time spend to perform his duty.
ok if you answer me in this topic i copy it to this place ;)
you dont understand me :( whats the point e.g. if he knows that a player who plays nt receive 33% extra training? especially if the player plays a different position in nt than in a club-match? why he have to know how to handle a perfect ys-school? he candidate for nt-coach not for a mentor, because this is what you asking for. we have here a lots of topics to ask and get informations e.g. Newbie Pilipinas ;)
btw where did i said that nothing is important, only that he is a filipino?
and dont compare the philippines with cyprus ;)

Well it looks like all the foreigners are mad it me.:-) Hey Vampyre, hows your knowledge of Tagalog or Visayan? If you understand the Philippines like you say you do you will know that at least half the country is not comfortable english.
If you really took time to look at other Filipino forums you will find most of the lively debates and discussions are in native language. It beats me how anyone could run without knowing the language.
