Subject: Coach Trez for PST Coach

2009-08-23 19:58:45
right but what is the problem? if bohol say that he will vote for trez08 coz he is filipino than its like that. also he said its his opinion, so he talk about himself and not for all the others ;)

and what i like to explain is, if a filipino win this election than its not a big deal coz there are many ways to help him.

exactly. and i try to say you, what's my problem with this.
some people see only your nationality here, but don't see the experience, and don't respect the knowledge and work.

that's all. ;)

Hi, I know I'm a foreigner but I've been following Philippines forum ever since I bought a filipino 16yo last season... I agree with having one's own countryman for it's own NT. This is the best time to learn, when the country is small with lousy players, and when it doesn't matter if the NT loses every match... If not when do we learn?? When the country has strong players, then u put an untested own countryman?? That would be worse for the country NT!

I must say the situation exist in "small" country like Singapore too! Whenever election time comes, we get foreigners coming to the country saying "blah blah blah... vote for me.... will help the country... etc".

But the thing is we have never even heard of them b4! Only on election time, they "appear", and when they are not elected, they "disappear" for good! So you can see most foreigners dun really care about improving our country, they just want to have an "NT Coach" title beside their name!

But of course, there are exceptions. Some foreigners are really genuine in helping "small" countries grow... And these are the ones who do not really bother whether they get elected as NT Coach or not, they will stay even though they are not elected!

So, why dun the filipino community see who are the genuine ones and who are those that just talk only... and elect him next season? See if he really is who he says he is, that he really wants to help the country...

One do not hv to be NT Coach to help the NT, he can always give advice to the elected NT Coach, regardless if he's newbie or not.. So just see who will give value to the filipino community first, then elect him next year...

Just my 2 cents worth...

thx mate 100% agree :) but you`re not really a foreigner. singapore & philippines are so close that we`re like relatives ;)

as i wrote it many times here in the forum it would be nice if vampyr and bobbaz are still the nt-coaches next season but i have also no problem if the community decide to choose a filipino :)

you know his talent, already?

Im going to make this my last post on this thread because I dont have the desire to inflame this situation anymore than it all ready is.

First of all Vampyr your dead wrong about the language situation. It only takes a simple understanding of english to log on and play the game. To participate in a vigorous intelligent debate requires a much stronger command of a given language. I live outside the University of Bohol with some of the brightest here. When outside do they converse in English? No its Visayan. They are able to express there views in a much clearer and more eloquent way.

Secondly I passionately believe that the Philippines should be run by Filipinos for Filipinos. Other than the fine work of Bulcaneo, there is little to give it any sense of Philippine identity at all. Is it any wonder there are only 26 members in the the Philippine community?

So I have made my point clear here. The Philippines can become a generic cookie cutter nation in a sokker world dominated by European powers. To me this would be a terrible shame. The tough but rewarding way is to be a proud independent Filipino nation. Philippines to win your going to have to fight. Not settle for the status quo.

Vampyr i'm nothing agianst you but to the other foreign who look at us the way we didn't deserve...maybe it's time to give us chance to learn how to handle NT coach...you should be thankful that we entrust you the position for some time and maybe in the future we can ask some help from you if you really care for our country...

besides the foreign with bad intention i'm referring in my speech and not those who dedicate their time for our countries' sake...and we owe you that...if you really want to help us you can do it in another way...

i will be honest to you,,,i vote you in U21 coz i want for you to continue your program in u21 NT...but can you promise to give way to a filipino manager if in the future a filipino want to serve his own country???
2009-08-24 08:28:42
thank you for giving me some questions that could be my guide to learn more...i can't answer at this time coz i didn't experience it...pasensya na...you understand what i'm saying???

anyway don't try to downgrade again the ability of someone to choose what he believe that is the best choice...try first to be a filipino then you can vote for our country sake...if you care for filipino then try to respect our own opinion and culture...we believe in ourselves that we can then what is the use of criticizing us when the one who criticize us is not affected if anything happens for our own country...

but i think bobaz and vampyr is different if they're saying the truth that they want to serve our country but i think if they really want to serve the country, they can do it even if they don't become NT coach and i'm willing to learn from them as well so that someday i can answer your questions...

If i become NT coach i have 12 hrs daily available to serve the NT, and actually we filipinos who registered in this game i believe is willing to learn so we can work together and learn together that this is this or that is that...

zastarovje, you always say that we care for our nationality much than knowledge,,,yeah because we here in the philippines are very patriotic about our country but we're open to learn if other nationality is willing to share his knowledge about soccer...in your country, is it allowed for a foreign to be your president???if not then shut up...

as i said before-i will not start next season and i thougt that bulacaneo will be my successor...

i see that situation changed and trez wants to be a NT coach-if he wins i promise i`ll help him as much as i can because i care about Pilipinas and i will stay here...

but if i win i promise to give trez 2-3 friendly matches to prepare him to be NT coach next season as i did it with bulacaneo before Slavador...

@trez08

I wish You good luck in the elections!

I wish you good luck too! Pilipinas is lucky to have a guy like you, ready to help us anytime we need it. But Bulacaneo is not running for the NT coach that's what i'm wondering also, he's far qualified to be the NT coach but he's not running. I'm willing to run U21 coach if he will run. I did not want to run against Vampyr and Bobaz but we need to have a filipino identity in this game and also to atleast uplift the spirit of filipinos toward this game. I want to help Pilipinas because I LOVE this COUNTRY so much. I'm very proud to be a filipino.

I'm willing to learn from you since you knew many things in handling this position.
2009-08-24 14:09:31
as bobbaz said, this is our last season here as the nt coaches, of course.

god damn... you think we came here to 'dominate the country' and take control of everything as you claim?
no.
we're here to help you and to show you how to play this game in the best way.
one season is a rly short part of time, so we decided to run once again and improve a little bit nt so that you will have an easier way to do something positive.

do you rly think that i want to destroy filipino nt and the community here?
that i'm doing everything on my own?
i want to help you and to broaden your knowledge about the game.

ok, never mind.
filipino users will decide, we have no influence on their decision, but maybe your and bohol's speeches like 'i'm good, i'm filipino, take me, cause foreigners are bad, whatever' will let you win.

cheers and gl.
2009-08-24 15:46:18
i'm not saying anything you're going to destroy our NT...of course who am i to judge you...i want to clarify you're not only the foreigner who run to this election, in NT i think there are 10 foreign coaches who want to hold the NT coach position,,and i've read all their speeches..and bobbaz and you vampyr only have a speech that makes sense...others are just running because they've seen beautiful asians in the philippines that make no sense being a NT coach...hope you understand...
2009-08-24 16:23:28
i understand that.

but i can't understand why are you doing the same as the other candidates about you've written.

'vote for me, i'm a pinoy and i will be the best' - i hate that.
2009-08-24 16:34:57
if i thought that someone will read my speech i would write a better one but thanks:P

Your speech is not bad too but speech isn`t most important here - experience is...and you`ve got not much of it:/ Main differance between us is that i decided to start in the elections when i had 3 years of SK experience and You after 3 weeks...
