Subject: Sokker 2.0

We have introduced some minor modifications to the game:
- popup menus on right and left menu bar which allow new users to catch up quicker on the menu organisation.
- security of all pages have been reviewed and changed. Although this was a large change you should hopefully see no changes. If you do please post in the bugs / ideas forum.
- mailbox changes with the addition of notifiers (explained in other news topic).
- Plus users can now sort their squad on various elements i.e. age, value, striker etc.
- A short note has been added when publishing friendly ads
- minor bug fixes

The one that will cause you all to ramble and guess on is the notifiers. Over the next few days please keep your eye on the news pages as there are quite a number of significant changes being announced.

Most of the changes will come into play during the off season so while the news is out the features may still to be installed.

Have fun im sure you will enjoy the changes when they are installed and announced.


Italian admins told us that these are just a minimum set of improvements. Sooner we'll read about other improvement interventions (7 to be precise) that will represent a sort of revolution for Sokker.
The improvement notices will be posted once a day from tomorrow on.
Here in this thread we'll post the news and will comment about them trying to explain the consequences over the game experience.
At last something's moving after a long stop ; it's a chain of events strongly waited from the most "acient" communities and there are a lot of expectations... let's wait and observe together !!

i know already all the changes ( read it in Sokker Linguists) and believe me, its really amazing :) alots of new stuff...

Here are the first two, the less important:

From the 8th-9th of December you shall be able to either tip the score in any game you wish or comment on the outcome of the game. This feature will be available within the TV studio which shall be opened a week before the match takes place and shall remain open for comments after the match has finished.
This new tool will enable you to see how others think you may do in the game and it can also be used for some cheeky mind games against your opponent.

We are introducing a new feature that will be short messages, displayed as a pop-up box, informing user about some events. You can also review the notifications within your mailbox.

Initially only notifications listed below are ready:
- You have new mail
- Someone has overbid your offer

We planto be adding the following notifications in the future as shown below:
- A user has read your mail
- Your player has been selected or removed from NT or U21
- You have sold a player
- A manager has asked you to form a pact
- You have been challenged to a friendly match
- Your invitation to a friendly match has been accepted
- Someone has signed your guestbook (Plus)
- A friend or observed user has written a new press announcement(Plus)
- Someone has replied to your post in the forums
- Your Plus has expired or is soon to expire (Plus)
- A player in your briefcaseis on the transfer list (Plus)
- A friend or observed user is online (Plus)

all italian staff has confirmed that really they are testing some great changes .)

i heard sth like this from some moderator but i will believe when i see it;)

these first two changes mean that will be possible

1)comment and tip matches on studio tv along one week (before\after the match)
2)a list of some nice notifications

we'll see what happens tomorrow :)

sorry but for sure its not a "big change" ;) but wait..... it depends how you will think about it :D

well some minor changes are surely better than nothing but it won`t make SK a better game:/
