Hi, my name is Matheus Batistussi, most known in sokker as Chester Matheus. I play sokker since 05/2009, and I've learned a lot of things about tactics with Brazilian managers. I never was coach of any NT, but I think I'm prepared to take this challenge. I have a lot of available time,
and I have friends who can help me to find players from Pilipinas around the world.
I chose try the U21 because the only way to Pilipinas to have a good team in the future is working on the young players today. If we don't dedicate at these players now, it's impossible to have a good NT in the next season.
I count with your help now, and after the elections, if I win, to search for players and among other things.
Evolution, from Brazil, has agreed to help me in this journey. I want you all to come with me, to lead Pilipinas to a better place in the Sokker world.
Thanks in advance.

Because it's a country with a good number of managers (if compared to the smallest) and can develop in sokker. Some countries don't have good perspectives, but Philippines have, and I think I'm prepared to help. Other countries, like South Korea, have a very small number of managers, so it's impossible to make this country develop. I want to help the new users, so that they can understand the game and stay in sokker, because a great part of the new users leaves their teams after log two or three times.
The NT team isn't very good, and with orientation to the managers we can help them to train their players, which can make the NT stronger in the future.
I wan't to make a kind of "Career guide", like we have in Brazil, orienting the managers how to train their players, looking their development even after them leaves the U21 team. =)

i don`t wanna disappoint you, but i guess we`re only around 15 active users, so don´t expect to much ;)
Yes, in every country less than 1/5 of all users are active, but we can try to turn into active players some players who creates the account, log twice and leaves the game.
And 15 users can make the difference, if everyone train one or two players of Phillipines, it's a advance. What we should try to do is hold the new users and help these new players, teaching how to play and incentivating to train native players.

NT U21 is a good team, do you think to have enough experience in sokker to bring good results?
Yes, I think I'm prepared to assume this challenge. I'm in sokker since 05/2009, and I used to talk about sokker almost every day in a MSN group. I follow the brazilians NTs, so I learned a lot about tactics watching the matches and reading the foruns.
Nobody asked about tactics yet, but I'll talk about a little.
I don't like to use wingers in the U21 team, because at this age they aren't very good, anda a winger needs a high level in playmaker and passing to work well, and hardly a winger will have it at 21y.
By that reason, I rather use central mids in a short distance one from another to avoid wrong passes and difficult the advance of the opposite team.
In a team like Phillipines, it's very important to defend. I don't know how are the players yet, but I often will use five defenders against stronger teams, to try to stpo their attack players and to prevent against a possible winger. It's very important to put a midfielder in front of the defenders line.
Of course the tactics will be done according to the opponent, agains weaker teams it's possible to use only four defenders, putting five players in the midfield and eventually try a winger, depending of his level.
I won't use more than one ATT almost never, it's better to use only one, because with two strikers we will have less players in the midfield, and one striker is more effective, all the balls will go to him.
I'm sorry if I've commited some english errors (probably a lot), if you don't understand something, ask me and I'll try to explain it.

imho it`s a huge risk to play with only one striker. of course you have a stronger midfield with only one striker. but if the opponent cover him well or in worst case he receive a red card, the offensive would be dead.
also if i see our strikers like Santa Maria, Vicente or Cagas it would be pity to see 2 of them on the bench.

To a red card we can use the conditionals substituitions. The secret is to find a good position to put him, but depending of the level, we can use two strikers (I was assuming that Phillipinas don't have good strikers). But against a better team, I think it's not good to use more than one, if I use two, they won't be in line.
1. Brasil U21
2. Portugal U21
3. Sverige U21
4. Pilipinas U21
5. South Africa U21
6. Al Maghrib U21
what du you think about our group?

Well, the Brazilian team is the best of our group, it's almost impossible beat them. Portugal it's a bit better than Sweden and Pilipinas, probably will get the second spot. Sweden and Philippines are one step behind Portugal, and will fight for the third place. South Africa and Morocco are the weaker teams of this group, and won't bother us.
I think Philippines can win South Africa and Morocco easily, try to beat Sweden and try something against Portugal. Brazil probably will win all the games, and Portugal it's the favourite to pick the second spot, Sweden is at the same level of Philippines, and will to be a good fight for the third place. =)

I want to thank everybody, I'm surprised with these three votes! =D
I hope Donni makes a good work, and I want to congratulate him for the winning! =D
