Pilipinas U21 - Australia U21 2:4

Good performance from our team against Australia U21. We were able to hold a draw until the 84th minute where they scored 2 more goals that we weren't able to score against. I hope that I'll be able to get a better result for the next meeting :)

Great performance against the b-team of Chile :D Our defense stood strong against the very offensive team and although we weren't able to make most of our attacks, with our player's perseverance we were able to score and win :D

Next week: WCQ vs Srbija U21 (last friendly match: Hrvatska 2-1 Srbija, last WCQ match: Mexico 0-2 Srbija)

I'm sorry for the big loss but I think that our team started out well, only letting in one goal for the first 80 minutes, considering the red card of one of our best defenders. The last 80 minutes was horrible for our team, conceding 4 goals in what seemed to be exhausted defenders. We had some chances but the opponent was just really too powerful.

Mexico, being one man down early in the match really had a great defense, making it very difficult for us to even shoot but we were somehow lucky to get one goal and win :D Using a winger helped in in this occasion. Very important win for us today!

Great game against Indonesia. Very valuable win for us :D Their keeper really made it very difficult for us to score, fortunately, we were able to use our team's skills on set pieces to score. This ends the first half of the qualification stage :D

Not really a good match for us because of three things: 1) Naguit's very early red card 2) Calilung's injury and 3) we only won 1-0, which is most likely because of the red card. I decided to add three players to the team (Tyson Calilung, Egay Alimboyugen and Joachim Pitpit) for this match in preparation for next season. Joachim Pitpit wasn't able to play because of Naguit's red card though. This is also the first match of Jack Espina.

Great win for our U21 team :D Tukodlangit and Pamintuan's partnership is really valuable for us. Unfortunately, Aguilar's yellow card means that he can't play in the next match, which is a very important match. Hopefully our other midfielders will step up and be able to replace the suspended Aguilar.

Aguilar's suspension and Tukodlangit's early red card made it really difficult for us, especially since we are facing a good team. We had some chances but we weren't able to make the most of it. Unfortunately, the red card means that our best striker won't be able to play against the toughest team in the group :(

I wished to get a better result but it is almost impossible to get a draw against one of the top 10 U21 teams. We still have a very slim chance of getting to the world cup finals stage, that is if Srbija U21 beats both Australia and Mexico and we win against Australia. If that happens, goal difference will really be a big factor.

What a match against Ceska republika! Good work for our team to beat one of the best teams in the sokker world. We decided to play U20 vs U20 and I was honestly surprised with the U20 team :D 6 out of the 14 who played was just selected this week :) Great job to Madali, Pogoy, Pansoy, Mallilin, Linsangan and de la Paz. Great job too to the older players, Espina, Alimboyugen, Romuar, Pitpit (who scored his first international goal), Pinlac, Pamintuan, Manganon and Tigas.
