Just curious. Why the sudden interest in running for Pilipinas NT coach and not with Kypros?

1. Write me something about your achievements. About what achievements are you proud?
2. What makes you different from other users?
3. What are your targets?
4. What will you do to prepare the team for the qualification games?

In the NT of Kypros I was the coach for 5 seasons.
Unfortunately, although the team was playing very good, failed to qualify in WC 2 times.

This season showed interest in another user. So I decide that is the time for someone else to try.

My interest for the NT of Pilipinas was created because I read in the international forum that Pilipinas is looking for a coach.
Also my interest becomes more because in the NTU21 of Pilipinas the coach is Tsolias.
I have a great communication with Tsolias in the sokker so i believe that we will have also a great communication for the training of youth talents of Pilipinas.

I don't have some specific tactic for the matches.
Always i adjust the team tactic depending on the opponent.

In NT Kypros I have made about 10 tactics.

Firstly thank you for asking and giving me the opportunity to answer.

Some achievements that I'm proud of are some ''big'' victories which succeeded with NT Kypros, against National Teams with much better performance points on the match and much higher position in the table of general ranking.

Some of these matches are:

Kypros - Costa Rica 42:0 Record of winning score

Slovensko - Kypros 1:1

Kypros - Türkiye 4:0

Türkiye - Kypros 0:0

Kypros - Hellas 2:0

Česká republika - Kypros 0:1

Österreich - Kypros 2:3

This season Kypros failed to qualify to the WC, because losts some matches like this:

Kypros - Andorra 0:1 if you have free time you must see this one


I think that i am not different from other users. I am a user like everyone else.
Μy only ''advantage'' is that I spend very much of my free time in the sokker.


Targets:
First of all, I want to see the skills of the players who are currently in the NT squad.
Then I want to see the NTDB.
If i elected as NT coach, i will arrange friendlies matches against NT which have the same points with us in general ranking because i want to jump up in the general ranking and against NT which have more points than us because i want to check our team's skills and prepare it for the difficult qualification matches.

I will call in NT's squad 40 players. I like to play with young players and not players over 32-33 y.o.

Do you have a preferred tactic? Or at least the top 3 you mainly use :)

If you became the NT coach, how will you choose players? Age vs value is a very difficult thing to balance so I'm curious on how you will choose players :D

Will you have a staff (scouts, etc) if you become the NT coach? If yes, who would they be?

If i do not see the skills of the players I can not answer that question.
I mean, for example, I like to play 4-2-3-1, if the team has not so good midfielders maybe i will play 5-3-2 with winger.

Another example, if we will play against a team which plays with 2 wingers i will play with 5 defenders.
If we play against an easier opponent which plays with only one striker i will play with 4 defenders eg. 4-1-2-3.

That's why I wrote above that I adapt the tactics depending on the opponent.

I wrote above that i don't like to use players over 32-33 y.o. But of course, If the team has not so good youth reserves i will use the 32-33 y.o players.
Especially this season the team should be prepared for the qualifying matches of the next season, so I can not use only players 33-34 years old.
The team should have a future. So we must have in the U21's squad many young players (not all the squad).

Of course i will need staff.
First of all i will need at least 2 scouters.
Maybe i will need 1 assistant manager. And of course the staff of NT always is completed with the coach of NTU21.
Youth talents must be updated in the database and in the personal file of the NT coach.

I would prefer the staff consists of Filipino users.
If no Filipino user does not want to deal with the issues(scouting etc) of the National Team, then the staff will consist of Greek users (I am Greek and my team is playing in greek championship).

If you win the elections, are you going to arrange all your friendlies or are you joining a tournament?

What makes you unique that we should vote you to be the next coach?

And lastly, realistically, in what place do you think will you finish in a world cup qualifier group stage with Pilipinas?

I prefer to arrange all friendlies by me, to choose which teams will play.
As I wrote above i will arrange friendlies mainly against teams which have approximately same general ranking with our team to climb on general ranking. And i will arrange some friendlies against stronger opponents to check out our capabilities as a team.

I do not think I'm unique. The only thing I can say that makes me a little special is that I have experience of 5 season on National teams.

As I watched the games of group G, the team played with 70 performance points.
So I put the 3rd place as first target.

But do not hurry. The first target, which is the mainly target of this season is to prepare the team for the next season and climb on the table of general ranking to be able to have the more favorable draw as we can in group stage.

As I saw I could not convince Filipino users for my ''value'' as NT coach.

I am back.....!!!!

I am interesting for the position of NT coach of Pilipinas.
I believe that the team has the quality to play a leading role in the qualification group of WC.

Of course we will try to qualify to the WC.

If you elect me, I will need a quick update of the player's skills to make the team for the first match.

I hope you trust and vote me.

I will arrange friendlies matches against teams which have the same ranking points with us and maybe 1-2 friendlies against a little stronger teams, and of cource we will use in friendlies matches younger players (B squad) to avoid injuries.

5. Pilipinas

Given the current state of the NT and the qualification group, in what position do you plan to finish and in what position do you think we will finish? You mentioned last time that you think it would be 3rd. Do you still think that?

Interesting question.
Of course I plan to finish in the top two positions of groups L and qualify to W.C.
I always play to win. If I can not win, i play not to lose.

But the most realistic plan and the main plan is the third position.
I believe that if the luck (match engine) is not on our side in 2-3 games which we will need it, we will finish 3rd to 4th.

I see the NT players on friendlies matches, their performance points in the pitch and i believe that they (players) have the quality to play a leading role in the qualification group L.

The NT has a lot of quality to midfielders and to attackers and has a litlle problem in defenders.
I believe we can succeed great achievements.


As NT coach of Kypros was one of my best periods in sokker.
Kypros (like Pilipinas) has few active users, I tried to give them an incentive to engage in the forum.
I had very much support from all users, were very cooperative on the issue of NT players and help as much as possible in the scouting, in general organizational issues etc.
I hope if you elect me, the period as NT coach of Pilipinas, be my most successful period in sokker, bringing at the same time the qualification to the World Cup.
