Hello everyone
As i announced yesterday i am not going to put candidacy for Pilippinas this season!! Kypros U21 need me as nobody appeared to train here so i am selected to be U21 manager here!!
I want to inform you that i am very proud for training Pilippinas and thankfull for your patience and trust that you show to me last 2 seasons!!
I would be very happy and proud when Pilippinas youngest players that i give them chance to play, one day will qualify for World Cup!!
I want to say thanks for helping and for your kind cooperation and especially to Tsolias,Acelio_1216,billis21aek,Vampyr and every Pilippinas user that answered to my mails and helping me with updating players!!
Anytime you want my help for anything just ask me!!
Thanks for everything it was a pleasure working with you!!
Someday i hope i will be back here!!

Tsolias Karl Devance is my team star right now and i am not going to sell him haha!! I have 4 Pilippinas players right now (2 of them are playing for U21) and i hope one day they will help Pilippinas NT!!

On Saturday i am gonna say goodbye to the whole squad against Scotland for my last game training Pilippinas!! I hope everyone will be there :)

I couldn't start the same way as Behmen did but it was still a good game, although it could have been better for us. It's been a long time since I last managed the NT and most of the players I used to work with are old and managing a national team is very different from managing your own club.

We played against a team that is 9 places higher in ranking and against a coach that has been managing the team for several seasons. Our next game is against South Africa, a team with a similar rank with O'zbekiston but with a new manager.

I would need some suggestions / comments regarding the following:
1. Tactics: I already have some changes in mind but please tell me if you have more suggestions!
2. Player choices: Some of the most common dilemmas in managing a small country NT are:
a. young vs old players
b. high value vs high form

We got a better result this time against an almost equal team and I guess the changes from the tactics are good however, our next goal now is to improve the defense by tactics and player choice... One of the most difficult is the goalkeeper...

Right now we have 4 goalkeepers in the NT with 2 players for observation (my team's goalkeeper and the current U21 goalkeeper). I chose Bahande for the last 2 games because of form and relative adequate skill level. But in terms of skill level, Halum would probably be the best but has poor form; Alcazar has a slow pace and Espina is old... Who do you think I should choose next time?

Next week we play against a stronger team, Cuba.

Haven´t seen the match yet, but congratulations!

To your question:
- I would give Halum a try. Perhaps his form will rise if e plays again in the NT.
- I would also ask Alcazar´s coach, if he trains pace. In this case I would use Alcazar.
- Finally, for important matches I would perhaps use the older one, because of his experience-skill.

Btw, the best goalkeeper is still 21yo and still improving. Litao with 1,97 height! :)

We played against a stronger younger team and got a draw. I made a mistake by making Conlu play even without an injury. I didn't notice his injury so I'm sorry for that.

I think a draw is a good result for us but of course, it would be better if we won. I'm still finding the right balance of player age and skill...

Next week, we play against Cymru

Sorry for that bad game... We were exposed with our defender's positioning and lost because of that...

Well, it´s a friendly and you tried something, that didn´t worked. You do not have to feel sorry :)
And now let see if the form of Halum will rise next Thursday.

I tried new tactics (similar to the tactics I used when I was NT coach before) with the suggestions from you guys. So thank you! I still have a problem with playing against wingers but we'll try to find a way for that :)

I honestly did not expect this result so I am very happy. Thanks to your help, we were able to look for the future generation of Pilipinas NT which include Alcazar (who did a great job), Cabungcal, Agbulos, Sabugo (who filled in the attacking midfield position very well), Quinot (our surprise winger) and Dinolang. De Leon was also considered to play but did not make it for this match, maybe for the next match, I'll consider him :)
