Very good start. Let's go, all together to help.

I think we could have done better despite the injuries. Here are some of my suggestions:

1. Play with a higher defensive line. I think we are giving them too much space at our half.

2. Play with a more compact defense. There should be 2-3 defenders near the opponent, especially since our defenders are not that good.

3. Play with taller center backs. I still think that this is an important factor in headed goals.

I know that there has been a problem with the player databases. I don't know if this is contributing to the team selection. How is the database going?

Please arrange next NT friendlies to be U27 or lower. It helps a lot the players who can still improve on their skills.
I will be happy to see in the next matches players being used, who are still developing and receiving individual training each week, like my Nolan Uy.

Week 3 - Friendly
Pilipinas 0:1 Australia
It was a difficult game from the start. It seemed balanced, but I knew we would loose. And it happened. And thanks to this lost game, our coach learned many critical things about tactics and players selection.
(Yes, I admitt it. I was happy to see him making wrong decissions. How can one learn to make the right decisions, if he has no experience of the wrong? )


Week 4 - Mini World Cup - Group stage
Pilipinas 0:0 Guatemala
Better performance than the week before, but despite the dominance, no score. This match was a chance to learn which players to put in the attack; it was the last game of legendary Andrada (34).


Week 5 - Mini World Cup - Group stage
Pilipinas 3:5 Latvija
Latvija has better players and it was very well prepared against our tactics. Not bad performance. Perhaps it could be a better result with a winger tactic.


Week 6 - Mini World Cup - Group stage
Perú 1:4 Pilipinas
We needed a win to continue in the knock-out stage of the Mini World Cup, against the team of Perú, a nation with 144 users. We were tactically very well prepared and it was a deserved great victory.

It was a very close match. Foutinhio and me, we already discussed about the possible reasons of loosing this epic chance to get in the 1/4-finals of the MWC.
The Mini World Cup is now over for the Azkals. Reaching the 1/8-final was a success.

Former Pilipinas NT-Coach roman112 was happy to play against his beloved Azkals.
He offered to play with his U28 against the best possible team from Pilipinas, with no age limit.
I wanted to make it hard for both sides: So Roman will play U27 and Foutinhio with U28. For some people it seems unfair. For me it seems to be the best preparation for the future generations.
So, lets have a view today, of the upcoming future!

Match against strong Germany of ex-Azals-coach Roman is over.
Our team lost with a complimentary score of 0:2 in an U28 vs. U28 match. Not bad! My compliments to Foutinhio!

What have we gained of this match?
- We (coach Foutinhio and me) had a look at the next generations of players
and through this, we are able to know what has to be done.

What has to be done?
- All U28-players need to take every week individual training. (At least for 90 minutes official match).
If you cannot offer them each week individual training, then it is better to sell them. In this case, please inform, some days before, coach Foutinhio or me, so we find a potential buyer, who will give them more training.

I know, you love your NT and you want to train your players as best as possible. Best as possible is only possible, if they get every week individual training.


Finally one more notice: Basic skill (defending, playmaking, striker) are the most important skills.
e.g. It is better to have a defender with 12 pace, 12 tech, 17 def,
tahn having one with 13 pace, 13 tech, 16 def.
