Subject: »[NT]National Team of Pilipinas

I just won't be able to conduct both my club and the NT due to the lack of time. I have a lot of stuff going on right now and it doesn't seem to change in the nearest future. I'm not sure if I will be able to find the middle ground between all these things, so I don't want to risk neglecting the NT. I'm certain that there are more suitable users for the job who will work with you guys and the squad the way I would like to.
Of course, I'm not leaving and I will be as active as I can :)

Great job with the NT this season and congratulations for finishing 3rd place despite the situation with the country's national team or even the local setting in sokker!

98 nations total; 77 nations with more users than Pilipinas, 20 with less. You should finish on the 5th place... ;D

I would like to thank both of you for the support and for the help with the NT. I also think it was a pretty good season.
It was a real pleasure to develop and to work with the team. That 3rd place surely is a sign that the best is still yet to come.

Acelio, you updates and interest in the NT have motivated me to sacrifice as much time as possible to work with the team.
Tsolias, your contribution is also invaluable. Your tactics and the analysis helped me a lot and showed some ways to improve our tactics.

There still are two games left to play, I hope we can gain more points to move up in the ranking.

Is it really final that you won't run as NT coach next season?

Yes, it is final. I don't want to get involved so much in something I'm not sure I will be able to conduct. It is a lot of responsibility that needs maximum attention with a country such as small as Pilipinas. I will be here, that's for sure, trying to help you as I have done from the start.

This game on Saturday we take on Belarus. I already talked to their coach, who is polish by the way, and we decided to play the second squad players. There will be an opportunity for the younger players to gain some extra training points at the end of the season. Those who do not have any play-off games, please be aware of that and try to remember to change your training on the skill you would like your player to develop. I will inform all of the users whose players will be selected to do that next week after the game.

Seems like pilipinas NT manager has some shoes to fill!

I'll be curious to see who runs for this nation, and if it's nothing spectacular then maybe I might give it a shot.

We lost today 5-0. It was me who coached the team. I will write later tonight a matchreport. :(

So, now some words about yesterdays match.

I told some weeks ago to Vampyr , that I want to coach the NT for a game. He offered me this chance immediately, but I refused, because I wanted a taugher opponent.
This Saturday the opponent was a stronger team and Mexico was like a slap in my face.

I realised that the difference in tactical approach between U21 and NT is much bigger, than I thought.

Andrada´s and Austria´s injuries have make our team weaker and we could have performed slightly better in the first half, but the team I coached had, with my tactic used in the second half, no chance, even if Maradona was on the pitch.

We could have a better result with Vampyr as a coach (I hope also with Lorenzo), but not with the approach I made.
The only positive thing from this game is that my experience level made a popup with this slap.

Vampyr, thank you for letting me play the game and I feel sorry if I disappointed you.

Finally one more thing about the NTDB:
Vampyr cleaned the database (half of the players are out) and I have studied all players who were kicked of. Vampyr´s criteria worked super, he did everything perfect and the next NT-coach has less work to do.

I also experienced that the first time I became the NT coach for Pilipinas... It was very different from coaching the U21 at that time, especially since the players were different with different skills and I was more used to the skill level of the U21 because it has the similar level with my team. It took me a lot of matches before I can get used to the proper positioning and tactics...

And once again, thank you Vampyr for all your hard work and dedication to the NT. I know that we had misunderstandings at the start of your Pilipinas NT career but I really did see the improvement (very very big improvement) and your dedication to the NT. Thank you!

Kostas, there's no need to feel sorry or apologize, especially to me. I think you didn't do as bad as you think. Mexico is a really strong opponent, I don't think I could manage to take them on and lead the team to achieve a better score. I feel no disappointment at any level and I, for sure, can't blame you for anything knowing your experience and the energy you put in leading the U21 NT. I led the youngsters just after the country of Pilipinas was added to sokker - it was my first time in this position and also the first season for Pilpinas national teams. I must admit, the jobs differ from each other a lot...
All in all, no worries - I glad I could help you gaining some experience and feel for yourself how does it all look, seen with the senior NT coach's eyes :)
As for the NTDB, I don't want to make a mess and leave. Everything I do, I do from the start to the end completely and with special care for the details.

Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot to me that you've seen the improvement and the dedication.
I know we had a rough start, because of the expectations that I couldn't fulfil in a level you would like me to. I'm glad that I earned a little more of your trust with time.

A huge thank you for all the users that gave such an opportunity to be a part of your sokker life as the NT coach. The decision about leaving was one of the hardest one to make through all this time I've been active as a manager. Of course, I still would like to be a part of the community and help you as much as I will be able to. I only hope that whatever choice you'll make and whoever you'll choose to conduct the NT, will be a decision you will never regret.

To inscribe Edition 11 NT Mini World Cup

Groups: weeks 4-5-6

knockout: weeks 7-8-9-10

It is allowed to inscribe new teams until the drawing day, which will be friday of week 2 (--).

1- The team which plays home has to challenge the team who plays away.
2- You have to accept the match before Wednwsday 23:59
3- The one who has not challenged, or the one who has not accepted the challenge loose 3-0


Group Stage:
- The matches cannot be Cup mode. If it is a cup mode friendly, the result will be the first 90 minutes.
-Victory 3 points
-Defeat 1 point
-Lost 0 points

knockout:
-It has to be Cup mode. If it is not arranged in cup mode and the match ends in defeat, the winner will be chosen by a draw.
-The winner jumps to the next stage of the knockout

Tomorrow we have a game against Costa Rica. It will be the last game for me as the NT coach. Everything is set and ready - I'm hoping for a good score.

I have never talk with you but as i can see you are a succesfull and respectfull coach here in Pilipinas!!

By my side i would like to thank you for all you have done which makes my job much easier than before but also hardest because you raised the level in this small sokker Country!!

I hoped to end my time here with a stylish win. Well, there for sure was a style but this draw hurts me a lot. We were better today and deserved to win wthout any doubts, especially when Costa Rica scored after a penalty and we didn't...
I really think it, tactically, was a fine game with lots of scoring opportunities, a huge number of interceptions by our defenders and accurate passes from the midfielders.
