Mr Tsolias, what about the game?
It´s one of the moments that I feel real stupid. I had too much confidence about the game and those were the consequences. We should win this game very easy...
What would you do different if you had to play the game again?
- Firstly I would set somebody else in position 9. Sabugo has a very high BMI to play as winger; he is not able to accelarate and I should know it.
- Second, I would take care about the substitutions. It is silly to substitute twice in the same position and leave tired players on the pitch, as I did today (and it´s not the first time this happens to me).
- The third thing has to do with the choices I made about some players. Some players should play today and they didn´t. You will see them on the next game.
And what about the tactics?
With the things I just mentioned, we should win this game even with these tactics. I am aware that the second tactic is to risky - keep in mind it´s a friendly and I take the risk on friendlies to check some more things. I assure you we will play more safe in the qualification games.
This was the last game of some players - next Friday they will get 22 years old. Who has the potential to play in the next seasons in the NT?
Musni, Sugcang, Mauban and Guiang. They all played today. Their future depends on the decisions of their managers - on the matter if they continue to give them individual training, or if they sell them.
What about our next game?
Next week all players will get by one year older and we play against Thailand.

Mr Tsolias, what about the game?
Before 3 seasons we was at the same level with Thailand. Now I think we are a step further. Especially today I was happy to see some few changes I made to the tactic working well.
You told we are one step further. What brought us one step further?
The ability to interact.
I remember Bulacañeo insisting on the way he trained one player (Mangrubang), I waited for the results and so I was able to learn and find out some new productive things.
I remember of Acelio criticising the way I ordered the players to defend. I studied the defence of successful teams, and now our defence is our main weapon.
I also remember of Dinolang getting no training. I asked his manager to set him on TL and asked another manager to buy him and to give him full training. Dinolang will be one of our keys in the next weeks. (The same manager also bought Sapigao - you will hear of him in the next seasons).
I also remember of asking the community to invest on strikers. Bulacañeo and Acelio are training now strikers.
I remember far more things. They all have a common point: Constructive interaction.
You can see the results on the teams supporting our U21; most of them have now better finances, better coaches, better players - and the U21 has after the age update an average mark close to 50. Before 2 seasons it was close to 45 and before 4 seasons close to 40.
So, we did not make just one step, we made a lot of steps - together!
Despite the fact of having less users and less academies than before 4 seasons.
Wasn´t it a weak opponent today?
Most U21 teams are weaker than before 4 seasons. Ours is stronger. At the present moment 6 friendlies had been played today. We have the best average mark of them all! Better than Australia, China, Hellas...
I know the average mark is just an index - wait and you will see wonders in the next 15 weeks.
Somebody asked if you are just lucky with this generation?
I am lucky with this generation of managers, not just players. The managers of the players are cooperative and willing to give their players best training. You will see the success of this team continuing. Agbulos, Alcazar, Sapigao, Panaguindo and Bayoy are some of the U19 players, who train in equal conditions like Cabungcal did.
Is it true that one of the U21 goalkeepers, Carlos Bahande, will be sold?
Yes. His manager needs the money to open a youth school. So if you know somebody who wants to invest some money to buy and train on pace a magical 21 years old goalkeeper, tell him that his money can be invested in a youth school in Quezon City in Pilipinas.
What about our next game?
Next week we play with Israel. The team makes an average mark below 46 and it will be the last match of the current manager.
And waht about the draw tomorrow?
Tomorrow we will now our opponents on the qualification for the world cup. Wish me luck!

Maybe yes. Maybe yes because Spain, Mexico and Chile will have new coaches.
Chile (53) and Mexico (52) have an average mark a little bit higher than ours.
Spain leads with 58. Sakartvelo (40) and Tunis (42) are not the weakest ones - they perform better than their average mark indicates, but if somebody wants to qualify in the WC, he has to beat them.
PS: When I saw Mexico I said "oh no!" - then I saw that Fernando Mattos is not candidating anymore :)
PS²: Cabungcal´s performance yesterday was magnificent!! :)))

Press Conference
Mr Tsolias, before the game you made a statement, that this game could be a diasaster. What´s your oppinion now about the game?
Well, I wanted to check and compare 2 different tactics with our team. I experienced the first tactic like a nightmare! We played against a weaker team and we could not make chances to score. The opponents played ping pong with the ball in our penalty area!
On the second half things went better.
The qualifiers for the U21 world cup are starting next week. Is your team ready?
I think we are ready. Of course some things could be better, but it should be enough. According to statements in the mexican and the german forum, we can qualify.
What else could be better?
Sorry, this is something I will discuss privately, by skmails, with the supporters of this team.
Bahande was sold today. Have you noticed it?
Yes, I am very happy about it for 3 reasons. His ex-owner Ceqcfc showed great patience and trusted me to sell him now and not last season. So he got 25 million P. (3,9M €) instead of 6,5 to 10 million P. (1-1,5M €) and with a part of this money I think he will open a junior school.
The third reason?
This can be a very strong argument to trust me on which players to buy, how to train (how, not what kind of training) and when to sell.
And what about our next game, about the first game of the WCQ against Chile?

Thanks to the training efforts of all our supporters WE ARE READY!

Mr Tsolias, what about the game?
Well, I feel disappointed about the result and I am more disappointed, because I am the reason why some of you expected a win of the Azkals today.
And what about the performance of the team?
I am satisfied with the players and the way they are trained. I think tactically I should have another approach to this game.
Did you expected the Chilean team to be so strong?
Yes, I did. Their starting-11 value of about 56 mil.P. was no surprise at all - they have more than 100 users in Chile. I was more surprised by the balanced tactic their coach, Vista City, applied. It seems he is a good one.
What about the other games of our group?
Mexico-Spain hasn´t started yet. You will read a short analysis about our group on the next days. Just to know: according to statistic in the german forum, the toughest group is group D.
This statement has to sides. The one side is, that it is difficult and bla bla bla...
The other side of this statement is: It will be a long run, for all 4 qualification-aspirants.
What about next game?
I think it will be an easy win. Nevertheless I want to study the game of Tunisia, before I make further comments.

Mr Tsolias, what about the game?
First of all I am very frustrated about the injury of Cabungcal. I know, that injuries are part of the game, but watching our best player getting an injury is a big disappointment for me and I think also a big disappointment for his manager Ortwin.
And what about the performance of the team?
I watched some minutes of previous games of Tunisia on Friday morning and I was alarmed. Their tactics are very dangerous and their best attacker is better than our attackers. So, I focused on the strengths of our team and everything went well. Everything except the injuries.
It makes me mad; Cabungcal´s substitution was scheduled for minute 71, but it happened after his injury, 15 minutes later...
What about the other games of our group?
Mexico lost his game by a walkover. I don´t know if it´s good news or bad news... In the other game, Spain demonstrated who has the best team.
What about next game?
It´s a friendly against France. I have send the invitation and I wait for the confirmation. I can test in this game some tactical movements and how it is to play without Cabungcal...
