of course, overall skill.

after signing him when he's out:

average technique, solid pm

im new to the game. and im having a problem on how to change the tactic on my first match. the thing is i made my own tactic but when i change my tactic on the match page, it will stay in the default tactic and no changes have been made.

First off : Did you save the change ?

Below the steps you need if I understood well your problem.
- Enter the match set up from "Matches" menu option.
- Find the match you have to set up
- Select the Match set up option for the match.
- Above the player list you have 3 options : General, Team , Orders.
Select : "Team".
- Below your goal on the field scheme, you have now the chance to select the new tactics.
- Select your new tactics.
- Save the change you have done as you changed one or more player and/or their role.
- Check out if your changed have been confirmed looking out at the name of the tactics.
You shoul also have the message "Set up saved" (or something similar) on the top of the player
list.

okay this is the problem mate. i did those things youve said already but still its the same. my problem really is that in the tactics page,i used the default tactic and then edited some part of it and then changed the name of it then saved it. but when i want to use it in the match set up, it is still using the default defense tactic and no changes at all. :(

when is the right time for me to reject players in my junior team? and do you guys have a list of the skill level? im quite lazy in copying those things.i want a copy paste thing.lol :D

to create a tactics you need to select any base tactics that your going to use. in your case you try to use the "Defend". to start, select "Defend" then noticed that on the "Create new tactics based on:" "Defend" is set. Then provide any name on the text field (sample "myDefend"), then click create. once its created you'll see the name on the User tactics. Make sure that on the tactics editor title it says the user tactics you provided, if not then you have to select it first. Now you can do the edit of that tactics.

for the skill levels you can find it on Rules, "17. Skill and supporter levels"

you should reject junior players before Saturday update, reject those below average skill specially if they are older. but you should consider some "BUTS", its up to you if you should reconsider when:
-its just 1 week of stay
-his just 16 yo
-his a GK
-good match ratings

just like regasfox probably wrote - you have to make a new tactic based on the existing one, and then edit the one that you had made and save it.
then go into the match orders, set it and we'll see what happens.

regarding to the second question, you can find the skills level list in the 'rules' in the left menu.
new youths come to your school every saturday but they are pulled every thursday, when the training is over.
if i can put my 2 cents here, i advise you to let players with skill weak and above stay in your school ;)

and my 2 cents, open the youth school in a couple of weeks when you see if you can afford it ;)

okay i had my first game and the score is 1-1 after 90mins.so there is no extension of 5mins after that?

and also, 3 of my players got a red card,does that mean they will be unavailable on my next match?and why is it that when they got a red card, they were not substituted? (i read the answer for this one)

follow up question is, the players with red card will not play in any match may it be friendlies, cup, or the actual game?

it depends, if a player receive a red card in a friendly , than he still can play in the next game, no consequences at all...

if he receive it in a regular game (league or cup-match) than he is banned for the next regular game, but still can play in a friendly....

that means your 3 players are banned for wednesday cup-match against Chako....

3 red cards and still manage to have a draw, that's not really bad for a newbie. ;) good luck on your next match, i hope you adopt this game quickly.
