We're back in the game, I invite you to the next match of the Druids Cup U21 Friendly Tournament, of course I treat this match as a control match, it's a training match for the most important matches, this time we're preparing for the U21 World Cup Eliminations. The more important than the match result is the work on preparing for the new season, but of course we want to win matches :)
We will fight like Tigers! even though the selection of the team is still ongoing.

Magyarország U21 - Slovensko U21 4:2

Hungary U21 4–2 Slovakia U21 – A Comeback to Remember

Dear Hungarian fans,

What a rollercoaster of a match we witnessed! Our game against Slovakia U21 started in the worst possible way – within just a few minutes, we were already down 0–2. It was a real shock, a knockout punch that left us stunned. For a moment, it felt like the game might slip away completely.

But this Hungarian team showed heart. With time, we found our rhythm, got back into the match, and did what needed to be done. We turned things around brilliantly and ended up winning 4–2! It was a well-deserved victory, and to be honest, the scoreline could have been even more convincing if we had been more clinical in front of goal.

Still, this match exposed a weakness that we can’t ignore – our midfield is currently not strong enough. We need serious work in that area to provide better balance and support across the pitch. I have a few ideas on how to fix it, but we need time to get our Hungarian engine running at full power again.

Now, we look ahead to our next challenge: Poland U21. This will not be an easy match. But remember – it wasn’t easy against Romania either, and we lost only 0–1. In fact, we had a golden chance in the dying minutes to equalize in a one-on-one situation.

We’ll see how the match against Poland plays out, but let me remind you: right now, the result isn’t the most important thing. What truly matters is evaluating our players, testing different tactical setups, and finding the best positions for them on the pitch. Our main goal is to be fully ready for the U21 World Cup qualifiers, which begin in just a few days.

Stay proud and stay behind our team – Hajrá Magyarország!

Poland U21 0–1 Magyarország U21

U21 World Champions Show Their Class

Despite Poland U21 being the clear pre-match favorites, it was our Magyarország U21 side—current U21 World Champions—that once again proved our strength and quality under my management.

From the first whistle, we controlled the game. We dominated the midfield, created more scoring chances, and dictated the tempo, while the Polish team struggled to cope with our intensity. Their frustration was evident and ultimately led to a red card for one of their midfielders, which tilted the balance even further in our favor.

We took advantage of the situation swiftly. Our striker, Iván Siska , found the net after a well-constructed attacking move, giving us a 1–0 lead that we held onto until the final whistle. Although we continued to create opportunities throughout the match, we lacked a bit of clinical finishing to extend the lead.

I am extremely proud of my team. We deservedly beat a very strong Polish U21 side, proving that the new generation of Hungarian players is ready to carry on the legacy of being U21 World Champions. The tactical decision to play with five defenders worked perfectly—we didn't concede a goal, despite the absence of our top goalkeeper, Zsombor Eszterházi , who is currently recovering from injury.

We are U21 World Champions, and we play like champions.

U21 Group C

The draw for the U21 World Cup Qualifying Groups is now behind us, and I’m proud to officially share the outcome with you. Our young Magyarország U21 national team has been placed in Group C, a group where — with full confidence — we see ourselves as favourites to advance.

From the moment the draw was made, our main objective has been crystal clear: qualify for the U21 World Cup. That said, football is a beautiful and unpredictable game. There are two goals on the pitch, and anything can happen until the final whistle blows. While we fully believe in our strengths, we won’t underestimate any opponent.

One of the key challenges in our group will come from Greece U21, a traditionally unpredictable side led by the very experienced coach Xdreco. It wasn’t too long ago that we faced them in the U21 World Cup group stage — a match we won 2–1, controlling most of the play. While we missed chances to score more goals due to lack of finishing, the match clearly showed that Greece is a serious opponent, and the rematch will require our full focus.

Another significant challenge in Group C will be Senegal U21, coached by our respected friend Pabloaimar21. This will be no easy task. Over time, the Senegalese U21 side has been carefully and patiently built by the outstanding coaching duo of Pabloaimar21 and Red_Pirate. Their track record speaks for itself — most notably their recent success in qualifying Senegal’s senior national team for the World Cup. Let me take this opportunity to congratulate them both on this remarkable achievement.

As for the other teams in the group — Misr U21, República Dominicana U21, and U.A.E. U21 — we believe we have the depth and quality to manage these matches effectively. These fixtures may provide an opportunity to rotate the squad and give valuable minutes to our talented bench players.

To summarise Group C: we are aware of the challenges, but we remain confident in our role as group favourites. We have four key matches ahead — two against Greece and two against Senegal — and these games will largely determine our path forward. Our ultimate goal is clear: to lead Magyarország U21 to the World Cup.

Thank you all for your continued support — let’s write the next chapter of Magyarország football together!

Forza Magyarország U21!

Goodluck for the next season.

Thank you for your opinion, but Senegal hasn't a chance to qualify or to do surprise against Magyarország or Hellas.

These teams will qualify and I hope,Senegal can reach the 3rd place.

Easy group for Magyarország. You should find out something against Hellas, against the other opponents will be easy to win.

Football, like this online manager game, is unpredictable, which is why we love it, and you have to have faith in success, only then can you succeed. Does anyone besides me believe that Hungary U21 will be the U21 World Champions? Probably not, but faith makes miracles happen! That's why I dream of Senegal advancing with the Hungary U21 team, we can do it together, we just need to believe in success :)

Good luck for the upcoming qualifiers. I wanted to comment after the win against Poland: It is a very serious results, and on top of that it is not the same agegroup that have won the WC. The results, and the overall impression from the game is really promising for the upcoming season(s)! :)
