Good luck for the upcoming qualifiers. I wanted to comment after the win against Poland: It is a very serious results, and on top of that it is not the same agegroup that have won the WC. The results, and the overall impression from the game is really promising for the upcoming season(s)! :)

Magyarország U21 - Ukraina U21 1:0

Match Report: Hungary U21 – Ukraine U21 (1-0)
Dear football community and fans of the Hungary U21 team,

After our fantastic 1-0 victory over Poland U21, today brought us another win — this time against Ukraine U21, again with a narrow 1-0 scoreline.

To be honest, I wasn't particularly impressed with our tactics in this match. In my opinion, we were poorly positioned during throw-ins, and overall, our young players didn’t seem fully engaged in the game. It felt like we were too confident about winning — perhaps a bit too sure of ourselves.

Still, the final result is positive, even if the victory was a modest one.

Today's match was played away at the UFHCS TC Arena, and we would like to thank the hosts for their hospitality. It's also worth noting that we didn’t play with our strongest lineup — we still have some depth on the bench, and I’m confident we’ll be even stronger on the pitch in future games.

Now, all eyes are on the upcoming U21 European Championship Qualifier, where our first opponent will be the very strong Greece U21 team. That promises to be a very interesting and exciting match — one where there’s no clear favorite going in.

Let’s stay united and support our young talents!

Today, we played our first match in the U21 World Cup qualification campaign – a highly anticipated and difficult fixture against one of the favorites of our group, Greece. From the very beginning, it was clear that this was going to be a battle between two strong sides. However, it didn’t take long to show that we were the better team on the pitch.

We quickly took control of the game, dominating possession and dictating the pace. It was only a matter of time before our efforts were rewarded with goals. We deservedly won the match 2–0, although, in all honesty, the scoreline should have been at least 4–0. Our opponents rarely threatened us, while we continuously created clear chances and kept pushing forward.

I congratulate myself, of course – but more importantly, I want to sincerely congratulate our young players. Their performance was outstanding, the tactics were executed perfectly, and the level of football we displayed was even better. This victory is a promising sign of what’s to come.

Let’s keep going – this is only the beginning!

With pride,
Manager of Hungary U21 Krzysztof

U21 Group C
First of all, I would like to thank our colleague pabloaimar21 for this match. Respect for this match, my friend. I could only rub my eyes and couldn't believe how well the young Senegal U21 team under your leadership can play. You surprised me with such bold play in defense. It was a very brave decision that completely took me by surprise :) The first half of the match was very even, and goals could have been scored at both ends. However, our young Hungary U21 players did not let themselves be broken like Bulgaria U21 or Romania U21 today, and we did our job 100%, but it was not an easy task. Well done, pabloaimar21 :) In my opinion, Senegal has a very real chance of beating Greece U21 in our group and sensationally advancing from our group to the World Cup. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and cheering them on :)

The Group C table looks super, my goal is to keep a clean sheet of goals conceded.

Congratulations. Thank you.

You have seen the match realistic, the defensive line was high from Senegal and worked well,. The first half was really balanced. Magyarország has much better players and more squad depth.

It is the weakest squad for Senegal since I'm the manager there, with a lot of younger, 19-20 year old players. There are only a few youth schools, and these things can happen, that a half of a generation is "missing" for the WCQ.

I don't see any chances to fight for the 2nd place this time in the group, I want to reach the 3rd place. Hellas has altought a much better team, then Senegal.

I think Magyarország and Hellas will qualifiy to the WC. You should win the group. :) Goodluck. :)

I'm expecting a much better squad for the next WCQ. We will see it 2 season later. :)

Match Report – Hungary U21: Group C Qualifiers, Matchday 3

Dear Hungary U21 Supporters,

Another step forward in our journey! We've just completed our third match in Group C of the U21 World Cup Qualifiers – and once again, we've emerged victorious. The Hungarian U21 national team remains undefeated and, remarkably, has yet to concede a single goal in these qualifiers.

Our defense continues to prove impenetrable. Opponents are finding it nearly impossible to break through our well-organized and disciplined back line. This consistency is a testament to the quality and focus of our squad, especially in the defensive phase of the game.

Today’s match was handled with calmness and confidence from start to finish. We stuck to our game plan and executed it flawlessly, never losing control. A special moment for our team was the debut of young striker Iván Eszenyi, who showed great promise in the attacking line. It’s always encouraging to see new talent step onto the international stage.

With this win, it’s becoming increasingly clear that this qualifying campaign might just be a formality for our talented squad. But we stay humble and focused – there's still work to be done.

Let’s not forget: we are the current U21 World Champions. This qualifier campaign marks the beginning of our mission to defend our title – and so far, we’re making a strong statement.

Thank you for your unwavering support. For Hungary, for victory!

Hajrá Magyarország!

Gratulácje! Defend the title won't be easy. Is the next year generation will be better then the last year?

I am proud to share that our Hungary U21 team, under my management, has become U21 World Champions!

We achieved this incredible success without having many so-called "stars" in our squad. However, we had players who gave their all — talented, committed, and ready to fight for every inch on the pitch.

Looking ahead to the next U21 World Cup, I must be honest — the generation we will have may not be as strong as the one that just won the title. But that doesn’t change one thing: we will fight.

I love doing my job well, and I can promise you this — we will be well prepared, and we will go into the tournament with the same spirit that brought us the trophy. It won’t be easy, and I don’t know what fate has in store for us, but one thing is certain: we won’t give up easily.

We may not have stars again, but we will fight like TIGERS — and we won’t give up our title without a real battle. Defending the title is a huge challenge, but even winning any medal in the current situation would be a great success for this team.

The Tiger will fight until the very end!

I have decided to put the best goalkeeper of our young Magyarország U21 national team on the transfer list. The reason is to give another young goalkeeper a chance in training. Currently, 17-year-old Balázs Matkó will be training at my club, and I should remind you that 20-year-old Géza Ráczkevy is still training with my club. If any of you are interested in Zsombor Eszterházi , a young goalkeeper with a promising future, you are welcome to make an offer. He has a lot of potential and talent, but I still want to continue training the next generation of goalkeepers ready to play for the Magyarország U21 national team in the future.
