Dear Magyarország fans
Today our young national team played another important match in the U21 World Cup Qualifiers , and once again, we came out victorious! With this win, we are now very close to securing qualification for the U21 World Cup.
The match against the United Arab Emirates U21 was, as expected, a formality. We dominated from start to finish and claimed a 6–1 victory. However, I must admit that I’m slightly disappointed , we conceded our first goal in these qualifiers. The UAE U21 side managed just one shot on target, and unfortunately, it found the back of our net. That single goal really frustrated me; it took me a while to accept it.
On the other hand, our Magyarország U21 squad produced an impressive attacking display, recording over 30 shots on goal. Despite this overwhelming superiority, we managed to score “only” six goals. Still, it was a convincing performance and another step forward for our young team.
Next week, we will play a friendly match , the opponent is yet to be confirmed. After that, we will face UAE U21 once again, but this time, we plan to field a 100% Magyarország U20 lineup. That match will serve as a perfect opportunity to assess our younger talents and test the potential of the next generation ahead of the upcoming U21 World Cup.

After some great performances in the U21 World Cup Qualifiers, our young Hungarian team will now face Scotland U20 in a friendly match.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a closer look at the potential of our younger generation, the future of the Hungary U21 National Team, who will soon fight for glory at the U21 World Cup!
It will also be a great chance for the new Hungary U21 coach to test and evaluate the young players he will be working with on the road to future success.
As many of you already know, I’ve mentioned in another forum topic that I’m planning to run in the upcoming elections for the senior Hungary National Team coach. I already have a broad and detailed plan for developing our national squad. I’m carefully observing Hungarian players and analyzing their performances, wanting to prepare myself as best as possible for this new challenge.
At the same time, my goal is to leave the new U21 coach with a truly world-class team – a squad ready to defend our U21 World Champion title!
The work I’m doing with this generation is not just a duty – it’s a passion and a mission that I take very seriously.
We’ll keep fighting like tigers until the very end of the U21 World Cup Qualifiers, and I’m confident that our young Hungary U20 team will be perfectly prepared for the challenges ahead – both physically and mentally.

The situation in Group C has also become very favorable for us. We received an unexpected but very welcome gift from our colleague pabloaimar21, who led Senegal U21 to a sensational win against Greece U21. Congratulations to pabloaimar21 and his team for this impressive achievement.

Thanks to Senegal’s surprise victory, Magyarország U21 U21 has now practically secured qualification from the top position in Group C.
The big question now is whether this remarkable Senegal U21 side, under the guidance of our colleague, can fight their way to a U21 World Cup spot at the expense of Greece U21. The road is still long, but certainly within reach.

Újabb győzelemért lépünk pályára!
Közeleg a Misr U21 elleni visszavágó a korosztályos világbajnoki selejtezők C csoportjában. Csoportelsőként, 100%-os mérleggel érkezünk erre az összecsapásra, és a célunk egyértelmű: magabiztosan, látványos játékkal szeretnénk megnyerni a mérkőzést, ezzel tovább erősítve dominanciánkat a csoportban. A Magyarország U21 eddigi teljesítménye büszkeségre ad okot, de a csapat ambíciói ennél is nagyobbak , világos célunk, hogy kiütéses stílusban kvalifikáljuk magunkat az U21-es Világbajnokságra.
Visszavágó, amelyen az igazi erőnket akarjuk megmutatni.
Bár az első mérkőzést 2–0-ra megnyertük, az eredmény nem tükrözte fölényünket. A 25–1-es kapuralövési arány önmagáért beszél, mégis csupán két gólt tudtunk szerezni. A holnapi napon jóval hatékonyabb befejezéseket várok , ez lesz a kulcsa annak, hogy nagy különbséggel diadalmaskodjunk.
Hangsúlyoznunk kell, hogy ellenfelünk kapusa, Basyouni Barakah , világklasszis teljesítményt nyújtott az első találkozón. A Misr U21 legjobb játékosa, aki több ízben mentette meg csapatát a súlyosabb vereségtől. Holnap azonban nemcsak helyzeteket akarunk kialakítani , a helyzeteket gólra is kell váltanunk.

A mérkőzésre a jelenleg legjobb formában lévő U21-es magyar játékosokat neveztem. A döntő szempont a napi forma, a koncentráció és a taktikai fegyelem. Egy új, ellenfelünkre szabott taktikát is bevetünk, amellyel szeretnénk meglepni a Misr U21 csapatát. A célunk világos:
gólt nem kapni, és minél többet szerezni.
A csapat motivált, magabiztos és tisztában van a mérkőzés jelentőségével. Ez nem egyszerűen egy találkozó , ez egy újabb lépés a világbajnoki szereplés felé.
Cél: fölényesen megnyerni a csoportot és erős válogatottat hagyni magunk után
Számomra ez a mérkőzés személyes szempontból is különleges. Közeledik az idő, amikor búcsút veszek az U21-es válogatottól. A célom, hogy egy erős, taktikailag érett és mentálisan felkészült csapatot adjak át az új szövetségi kapitánynak, amely kész megküzdeni az U21-es világbajnokságon.
A selejtezők után pedig indulni szeretnék a magyar felnőtt válogatott szövetségi kapitányi posztjáért, és a következő szintre emelni a magyar futballt. De mielőtt ez elérkezik, még vár ránk egy feladat, amelyet tökéletesen szeretnénk elvégezni.

Today was supposed to be the day when our young Magyarország forwards showed their quality with beautiful goals and dynamic attacking play. Unfortunately, it turned into a match I would rather forget as quickly as possible. We played one of our weakest games in this entire qualifying run. My players moved slowly, lacked energy, and looked as if their legs had no power. Meanwhile, the opponent built a real defensive wall in front of their goal seven defenders, and they executed their plan extremely well. We kept hitting that wall over and over again without finding a clean way through.
Our midfield seemed unsure of what to do with the ball, and our forwards simply couldn’t hit the target. And then came the only real attack from Misr U21 in the first half:
a clumsy, unnecessary, and brutal foul in our own penalty area, resulting in a red card for Nemesi and a penalty that tied the match. One single action from the opponent was enough to make me bite all my nails and wonder if our young team would manage to score a winner after going down to ten men.
Despite dominating the match, it was our most stressful and chaotic performance in this campaign. We won yes. But today this wasn’t our football, not the Hungary U21 style we’ve become used to in this qualification.

What We Must Improve Before Facing República Dominicana U21
Even though we have 7 wins out of 7 matches and remain unbeaten, today’s performance exposed a few weaknesses:
1. Build a second tactical system
If another team plays with a deep 7-man defense, we need alternative solutions. I will prepare a different tactical setup for such opponents.
2. Faster ball circulation in midfield
Our midfielders were too hesitant. We must move the ball quicker and avoid getting stuck in predictable patterns.
3. Better shot accuracy
18 shots and only 2 goals is not enough. We must improve our finishing.
4. More aggressive off-the-ball movement
We lacked intensity today. This cannot happen again.
Despite the problems, we remain on the right path to the top. Qualification for the U21 World Cup is almost secured, and this group of players has enormous potential but we cannot allow matches like this to repeat.
Final Words
I am not satisfied with the performance, but I am proud that the team showed character and avoided a shock result. Even in a bad match, we fought until the end and achieved the three points.

This Saturday, we enter one of the final qualifying matches on our road toward defending our U21 World Championship title a title we proudly hold under my leadership. Qualification from Group C is already secured, the World Cup ticket safely in our hands, but Saturday’s duel carries a unique story… one that deserves your full attention.
The Stakes
While Hungary U21 enters the match as the undisputed leader of Group C unbeaten, dominant, and currently on an 8-match winning streak our rivals Senegal U21 still hold a slim theoretical chance of advancing. For that dream to stay alive, they must defeat us on Saturday. And let’s be honest… they have already shown they can surprise even the strongest opponents.

My Perspective as Head Coach
I’ll be honest with you, fans. My heart is split in this matchup.
Of course, I wish to extend our incredible run, claim our 9th consecutive win, and finish qualifiers undefeated this is the Hungarian spirit. This is our pride.
But at the same time, I have great respect and sympathy for our friends from Senegal. I know how much this match means to them. And because of that, should we not win, my players will have my full understanding. This is one of those rare moments when football emotions outweigh strict calculations.
We will step onto the pitch and play our football but I will not prepare extra strategies or special setups. I want the match to unfold naturally, by the will of Sokker. And no matter what the scoreboard shows at the final whistle, I will accept it calmly.
Tactical Notes
Magyarorszag U21 remains the favorite our form and depth speak for themselves.
But Senegal is the “dark horse” of the group: unpredictable, disciplined, dangerous.
Several of our young U20 stars will receive valuable minutes on the pitch. These are players who may soon appear in our World Cup starting XI.

A crucial and emotional moment lies ahead of us. This Saturday, we enter one of the final qualifying matches on our road toward defending our U21 World Championship title a title we proudly hold under my leadership. Qualification from Group C is already secured, the World Cup ticket safely in our hands, but Saturday’s duel carries a unique story… one that deserves your full attention.
The Stakes
While Hungary U21 enters the match as the undisputed leader of Group C unbeaten, dominant, and currently on an 8-match winning streak our rivals Senegal U21 still hold a slim theoretical chance of advancing. For that dream to stay alive, they must defeat us on Saturday. And let’s be honest… they have already shown they can surprise even the strongest opponents.

My Perspective as Head Coach
I’ll be honest with you, fans. My heart is split in this matchup.
Of course, I wish to extend our incredible run, claim our 9th consecutive win, and finish qualifiers undefeated this is the Hungarian spirit. This is our pride.
But at the same time, I have great respect and sympathy for our friends from Senegal. I know how much this match means to them. And because of that, should we not win, my players will have my full understanding. This is one of those rare moments when football emotions outweigh strict calculations.
We will step onto the pitch and play our football but I will not prepare extra strategies or special setups. I want the match to unfold naturally, by the will of Sokker. And no matter what the scoreboard shows at the final whistle, I will accept it calmly.
Tactical Notes
Magyarorszag U21 remains the favorite our form and depth speak for themselves.
But Senegal is the “dark horse” of the group: unpredictable, disciplined, dangerous.
Several of our young U20 stars will receive valuable minutes on the pitch. These are players who may soon appear in our World Cup starting XI.
Senegal will fight with everything they have, and coach pabloaimar21 will surely try to use his strong tactical instincts to the fullest.

Dear supporters of the Hungarian national team,
and my good friend ufhcs,
Your question hit me like a perfectly timed through ball straight into the penalty box. It pushed me to take a deep look at my work, my expectations, and what I should truly demand from myself at this stage of my Sokker journey.
When I analysed my career as a national team manager, one thing became absolutely clear:
My kingdom has always been the world of U21 football.
This is where I’ve spent years sharpening my skills, testing ideas, and let’s be honest breaking the Sokker match engine until it finally gave up and let me win something!
I’ve managed both weaker and stronger youth teams, and the results speak for themselves.
Finland U21 – bronze medal (yes, we shocked the world).
Hungary U21 – World Champion (yes, we shocked the world again, but this time louder).
Over the seasons I’ve created and tested dozens of tactical variations specifically for this age group. I’ve built a set of key, battle–tested systems that I adjust depending on the opponent. Sometimes I only make small tweaks; sometimes I pull out my “emergency plan” the famous plan where we pray the match engine doesn’t decide it hates us that day!
My experience allows me to use players exactly where they can shine, match them to the opponent’s style, and adapt tactics quickly and effectively. With all this, I can confidently say:
I have a winning formula for U21 football.
Even though our current Hungarian U21 squad is not as strong as Poland, Italy, Romania or Germany and several other nations look dangerous under my leadership I truly believe we can fight for another big result. Defending the U21 World Championship title would be an incredible challenge… and an even greater motivation.
Now, when it comes to senior football…
Well, I’ll be honest with you: I’m a rookie there.
I’ve never coached a senior NT. I know it would require rebuilding my tactical approach from the ground up. Senior squads need different systems, different balancing, different match management. It would take several seasons to construct a stable, competitive senior team capable of fighting for the top places. I don’t know whether Hungarian fans want instant success… or whether they are ready to be patient while we build something long-term.
And let’s be realistic nobody can guarantee a World Cup title, neither in U21 nor in senior NT. Too many things must align… and one unlucky sim can destroy a masterpiece.
But what I can guarantee is this:
Hard work
Honest preparation
Dedication, whether with youth or seniors
Passion for Hungarian football
Still, the choice between U21 and seniors has been extremely difficult for me which is why I asked for your voices and your guidance.
But after analysing everything, my experience, my strengths, my tactical core and the realistic expectations…
I believe I should continue leading Hungary U21.
This is where I can immediately deliver results, where my tactical expertise is strongest, and where Hungary still has a real chance to fight for glory again.
I ask for your support, your cooperation, and your trust one more time.
