Now we are facing the giant Greece, for the last round of the World Cup, in the group stage. We lost but managed to qualify on goal difference. The team is now waiting for the draw to know who will face in the next phase. About the match, we had many casualties before the match and it was so critical that we had to resort to a U27 player, to have a player on the bench. Every week the problems increase and it gets harder and harder to put together something to play. Already during the match, we managed to contain the opposing attacks well, but in the last bid of the first half we conceded the goal. We made a tactical change, to try to get the score, but the expulsion of a defender made things much worse. Even so, we discounted and until the 89th we were losing by only 3x2, that's when we conceded the goal that could take us out of the competition. But luckily we went on. This shows the strength of our team and shows some coaches who took the classification for granted, that it is resolved on the field. Forward Slovensko

Today's game was an exciting one. An unlucky red card and goal at the end of the first half created a few wrinkles on my face. We didn't have many opportunities to score in the first half, and the goalie and the defenders made some excellent tackles too. Starting the second half with space in the middle was felt in the defensive part. There weren't many opportunities how to react to the red card, but I think your reaction was outstanding. We were lucky not to concede more goals and to keep the chance for a better result. Looking at our opportunity in the 88th minute, I believed we could even draw this match. However, the Greek counterattack was deadly and almost took the qualification from us.

We just lost to the strong Romania team and we are eliminated from the World Cup. Now it's time to prepare for Euro U27 and try to do well in the competition and see future players available. About the match, we did very well, we took the lead and could have expanded, when we suffered the draw next. During the match, Romania had control and two penalties in favor, but we could finish the bottom plays better, where our winger could cross better. We had one more player and we didn't take advantage of it. We played an excellent match, even with many embezzlements and I believe that if we had options to change, we could have better luck. But patience. Thank you for the opportunity and my sincere apologies for not being able to move forward. Forward Slovensko

I feel sorry for Slovensko, I feel good for Romania. You played a good match, I thought that after missing the 2 penalties and red in the 41st minute, everything is in your favor. Your goalkeeper is excellent.

Petru, the way the match was, I cannot say that the result was unfair, but from what could have been and what happened, I can say that we could have passed. If we had at least one more midfield player with a level to play, I think I could surprise. But I'm quite satisfied. I think I proved to many that Slovensko has to be respected. Many said that we were not going to qualify in the qualifiers, then in the group stage of the cup and now we almost eliminated the giant Romania.
A beautiful elimination, if I may say so. I also got stuck in the round of 16 twice with Slovensko, pity. I think more is possible. In the future, I will gladly return to the beautiful community here. All respect to them and to you. You had an excellent course. Bravo.

Thanks. This will be my last season in charge of the national team. I need some time off to do some things at work.
Good work yesterday. Sad that we didn't reach the 1/4 finals. I think we can be proud of the achievements you have made. A bit of luck caused us not to go through, but that is football and its beauty. I enjoyed your journey with this team in the World Cup, and it is sad that you will leave this team. We will welcome you with open hands if you are interested again and will have some spare time for us. Good luck :)
Thank you my friend. I really liked the community and in the future I hope to come back and continue the project. At the moment, I think someone with more time can make a good progress. I think I managed to give the community a good boost again and I hope to see Slovensko getting better and better.
Hello community. I would like to thank you for the opportunity to lead the national team. Unfortunately we didn't get a medal in the world cup and we also didn't manage to go further in the Euro U27. I did my best and I believe in the recovery of this selection. Hugs to everyone.
