When a leader looses his vision, hi looses motivation, dedication, and a long-term plan! Its clear that the development of Sokker has stopped, and that our community of users are not the focus anymore for the owners.

Our goal is to check the volume of interest first, it will take you 1 minute to sign up to the interest list. With a bigger support, we will be able to gather an amazing & dedicated team, to develop a first "Alpha" version of a game inspired by this old version of Sokker.

Its time for something new, and if you are tired of this situation, finally we give the option to do something about it! Otherwise, don't wine and be happy as it is =)

Lets start a revolution together!
Im a co-owner of a design studio based in Sweden working as product developer & designer. I run the studio with my colleague, he is an animator and looking forward to this project. Our core focus is to "Simplify ideas and concept by design and animated graphic movies". We have helped many entrepreneurs to realise their ideas & visions whether it has been a physical or digital product.
So we have some great plans for this game! (Smallest example: Tutorials or help section should be in animated videos, not a long bunch of text), and much more.

I love this game, and back in 2008 i won the Sokker design contest with 10 years PLUS (that is still there) with my design concept. That design was never implemented by the dev team.

I know that we have a great group of coders in here, just check the thread:
"[New Game] How many coders are here?", i tried last year to start a development of a game, and searched the forums for coders. (See examples below).

Here is example of the last concept, this one is already outdated, we are sketching on a even better version of a first game. I showcase this to you, so you can see a little of my dedication over the past years! And now, i want to develop a game with the community in the centre.

i keď nie som povinný to prekladať... Dám aspoň hlavné body, aby bolo jasné, o čo kráči. Píše v skratke:

Vývoj tejto manažérskej hry sa už dávno zastavil. Užívatelia odchádzajú, nakoľko nevidia budúcnosť v tejto hre. Vôbec nedbajú programátory tejto hry na to, čo nám tu chýba, čo treba vylepšiť (poprípade doladiť). Ak máte tejto "frašky" už dosť, potom je na čase urobiť nejakú zmenu (a nie stáť stále na mieste). Link, ktorý tam je, slúži najmä pre informovanie, či je záujem pre vývoj "identickej" (ak nie ešte lepšej) manažérskej hry, akou je teraz, a vyvinúť prvú "alfa verziu" inšpirovanú práve Sokkerom.
Vyzýva nás, že pokiaľ máme tohto dosť, tak je najvyšší čas urobiť krok vpred a on je riešením.

Niečo o užívateľovi, ktorý toto píše:
Je spolumajiteľ dizajn štúdia vo Švédsku a pracuje ako vývojár výrobkov a dizajnérstva. Toto štúdio vedie s kolegom, ktorý je animátorom a tešia sa možnej zmene v rámci tohto projektu, ktorý tu práve píše. Ich základným cieľom je "zjednodušiť myšlienky a koncepcie zamerané na animované grafické filmy". Pomohli už dosť podnikateľom, ktorí potrebovali niečo vylepšiť, na novo vytvoriť a pod. Takže plány pre vývoj tejto hry (nakoľko sa pozastavila) majú veľké. Ďalej píše, že táto hra patrí medzi jeho obľúbené a v roku 2008 vyhral súťaž o návrh Sokker s cenou pre víťaza 10 rokov Plus zadarmo (ktorý trvá doteraz). Verí, že sú tu ešte nejakí skalní a dokonca sa už minulý rok pokúšal o zmenu a tak hľadal fóra pre programátorov (príklady nižšie).

Ako má pravdu ze sa tu nič nemení ale na druhej strane som na sokker v tejto podobe tak zvyknutý že neviem ci by som ho opustil a hlavne či by ma niečo novšie bavilo 10 rokov ako sokker

Good luck man! I am for news, but not sure I want to leave sokker and switch for something new. Better would be to start implementing it here even I understand it is not so easy to persuade greg.
