I shall post the line up and tactics in about 40 mins :)
I shall post the line up and tactics in about 40 mins :)
and the line up is:
Vaughn Whistone
Patrick wilcox
Benjamin Batts
Joshua Mutlow
Howell Stacey
Peter Cockings
Gethin Coward
Ian Parrish
Stuart Grey
Iestyn Edmunds
Rees Watkins
I have decided to use 1 offensive winger in an attempt to open up another avenue of attack. It probably wont work but had to try something :P

Our defenders must be 4 feet tall, should`ve used a lead ball.
7:1 loss so 1 worse than last time :(
I thought the winger placement was quite decent as it did give us a few more chances going forward but we just dont have enough quality to take advantage of it as edmunds showed by passing over our striker or behind him on all occasions he managed to get forward.
Once again losing about 90% of those headers were somewhat frustrating too and seeing our players with outs tech being tackled by their strikers :(
As for whitstone, I know he is awsome at times with saves but for the love of god, I wish he could actually pass to one of our players for once. Every single goalkick went etiher out for a throw in or straight to one of their players.

We are we so shite at heading the ball????? I've watched a few other NT games now and we are by far the worst in the air :(
Supposedly, it is random. I'm starting to think otherwise though.
The headers is largely based on the accuracy of the pass I feel, its why so many crosses from wingers end up in an attacking header rather than a defensive clearance.
Your team is quite accurate against England, scored 100% of the shots you have ever had against us ;-)
What did you think of the tactic England used today, I wanted to avoid using wingers quite as much as I felt you would expect that and man-mark them.

-If that is true, that would explain it as we aint exactly overflowing with players with high passing. I'm sure i've read that each header was a 50/50 chance though.

We did get forward on a few more occasions that couldve resulted in shots or even goals but our winger could'nt quite work out where our striker was :P

Yeah, I was expecting wingers, even more after reading in your forums that you'll be using an old tactic as you didnt have alot of time to make a new one.
I even moved my wingbacks out a tile further each side to stop them as our last game, they werent out far enough to stop your monster wingers.
As for what I thought of the tactic, it is hard to say really as there is such a gulf of quality between our 2 sides that the placement of your players didnt make alot of diff really as we was defend, defend, defend all game basically with the odd attack coming from us.
