Subject: Cup Matches 22/10/08

So how does everyone think they'll do tonight?

I'm up agianst Illution. They're a bot now, so I know I'm up against their first team and I really can't imagine my trainees will be able to do a lot against them. I've set some orders so that if we go to extra time I'll bring my first team strikers on (As I don't think extra time effects training, someone please correct me if I'm wrong!) so I guess I've just got to cross my fingers....

I'm playing a bot as well, tricky game but I think I should have enough to get throough.

Also Fields when he left his Illution side left them with the reserves playing so technically you're playing his reserves whilst his best players rot :(

I didn't realise that was his reserves.... They're a lot better than my reserves anyway, so I still think I'll go out!

Shame that his best players aren't getting trained. Were there any that could have played for Wales if they'd got trained?

He had a few players in the squad, actually I'm fairly certain most of his trainees were Welsh :(

He had a midfield player called Miller who was certainly pretty good.

Is there no way that you can get players released from the squad? If I remember right, on HT they would put players who were in the NT on the TL if their team went dead. Do they not do that on here?

Only way they can be released is if a new human owner takes control of his team, chances of that happening in ickle Wales is about 0 :(

Jonathan Miller 1886603 is an Illution player still in the NT squad.

But as he's not playing anywhere at any time look at his form :(

That's a shame, cos it's not like we've got loads of players to replace him with...

Anyway, just about scraped through tonight. The reserves held on to 0:0 by the skin of their teeth and the 1st team players could come on and get the job done. Not before I had a defender sent off though, which could be a pain on Sunday...

Pitty about the 1-1 draw in the league game but luck must have been against me then.

A bit of a legend in terms of Welsh players.... Doubt I'd have paid that for him though!
