Subject: Coaches

Decided to pick up a second magical coach (one at the juniors one now head coach), liekly should have improved the stadium but hey ho :).

I know we ahd a small thread about coaches before, but I'm too lazy to look :), just wondered how other sidea are shapping up coach wise?

I've got a magical Junior coach and 2 incred and 1 magical assistants.

Not reallly doing a lot for me at the moment, but I've only had them for 2 or 3 weeks, so maybe I'll have to wait to see the effects....

The youth coach will greatly help the NT, not many of us can afford a coach of that level.

Hopefully (well not for the rest of us, but for you :D) you'll also get a few gems from it :).

I've had one gem and 2 who could turn out to be very decent since I had my magically chappy, not that many when you consider how long I had him :(.

Actually just looking over my last sentance, I've had 3 I've got now who are very decent, but I remember looking over the Welsh NT fairly recently and there were quite a few started at the Oak so I guess they not too bad :)

I haven't long started my youth training back up. When I first started I had one, but the players that came out of it were pretty rubbish, so it didn't seem worth the money. I decided that it was no use until I could get really great coaches and stuff to try and get the most out of it.

It is a long term thing though, I've got to wait 31 weeks, for one guy. He's rated as Good, so I figure with that coach I may be able to get him to a nice level.

I would like to get a player into the Welsh NT, so hopefully that will happen at some stage.

Its very long term, but in all honesty if we are to get our NT to be any cop we need as many of us as pos to get a decent youth coach :)

Well, that was what I was thinking. I'd never bothered before, but I thought I'd see what I could do now that I've started playing again. It would be nice to see a few of my players representing their country. :)

Clark Kent is good enough to get in any NT :P
I've actually snapped him up now just incase he changes nationality and plays somewhere else :P

I'm glad an NT manager has finally come to their senses and picked the greatest goal keeper in Welsh Sokker history.... Or at least the best keeper I've ever had! ;)

I'll give him a game once we are knocked out of the mini world cup as s reward for his outstanding talent over the years of torturing the rest of the welsh community ;)

I don't even have a youth team yet, as I can't afford one. Maybe next season. I've just got my first Incredible coach, and he gave 7 pace pops, but going from tragic to hopeless doesn't take much anyway.

I would always recommend leaving the junior school for the first 2 or 3 seasons so you can build up your stadium and your HC and assistants first.
