Subject: Matches 23/11

My lot beat T.Sharks 6-2 where I managed to have 31 shots and produce only 6 goals :( also Edmunds got sent off which isn't great!!

Looks like JD forgot to change his line up for our game so I ended up winning 11:0 beating his 2nd team.

Awful performance to end up getting hammered 6:2. I think I can safely say that winning the league is out of the question now.

I'm very annoyed about how my team played. They were pathetic. Looking at that game every single one of them needs to be sold, because none of them did much right.

Also, the attendance at my match was a joke. How are you supposed to balance the books on this game? 2nd plays 3rd with both on a winning streak and 15,000 seasts don't get filled.

The attendance is also helped by ranking points, fanclub size and the type of seats you got in your stadium also helps. Seats under cover is the way to go to get a bigger crowd in :)
Weather also plays a decent size part of it too. I know it werent raining with your game but it wasnt set at the best possible weather either so the size of crowd would've been effected a bit too from that.

Seems a bit over the top to me.

I'm going to get covers for the stadium, but at the moment I can't afford it, it's a pretty expensive thing.

Terrible result. Im throwing away 2 many easy games this season :(

5 games left If I beat Y Ddraig Goch next weekend I can afford to loose 2 of my last 4 games and still pick up the title, Well unless Jayjay picks up some goals fast.

Having said that I've only got one game against the so called weaker sides (little Britain) left the other 4 are all very tough and Little Britain not exactly a gimme.

But I'm very impressed my lot are in this sort of position with the age of a number of my guys, a couple of injuries will screw it all up no doubts :)

You will need to upgrade those benches to seats before adding the cover to them.

Yeah, there's quitre a lot of saving to do before I can get the roof up.

Something I was wondering, if I build a roof over a stand and then decide I want to increase the capacity of that stand, do I have to pay for the whole roof to be put up again? Or just for the roof that is added over the new bit?

Also, say I did stick a roof over the benches, if I change them to seats does that mean I'll have to pay to have the roof put back up over the seats again?

I presume you are refering to seats here and you just pay for the additional roof so if you increase from 5000 seats under cover to 8000 seats under cover, you only pay for the 3000 seats and a roof covering 3000 seats.

Aint got any experience in this so no idea sry but I would recommend upgrading say one stand at a time to seats under cover from the benches. Or atleast upgrade the benches to seats first if you cant afford the lot in one go.

I don't think I'm going to have any bearing on where the title goes now, that's just too many losses this season. Very disappointed, cos I thought I had a shot at winning the league, but it's not worked out that way... I'm considering getting rid of some of the very established players to make room for younger ones, but this will probably mean finishing at least 4th and quite possibly 5th, so I've got to consider whether it'll be worth it in the long run....

If you think your team is strong enough to win the play off game, i'd say it'd be worth it.

That's the danger, I'm not sure they would be good enough to win a playoff.... Maybe defnsively they would be OK, but I couldn't see where goals would come from.... I'll decide later next week...

[edit] also, I think I may not get that much money from the players I sell due to the time I stopped playing during their training. Most of them are not really rounded players because of that.... Would mean that trainees that came in may not be of the highest quality...
