Subject: Training.

nice coach :)

Total Pops:
Form (+7 -18)=-11 :-( ,
Tact +14,
Pace +3
Stam +1,
Pass +2,
Tech +2

Bit disappointed on the Pace training.
How frequently do talented players normally pop on pace? None of my stars popped today, except for Hopkins with another double pop, but he's got a long way to go to become a star.

Total Pops:
Form (+22 -13)=+9
Tact +10
Tech +1
Play +6

But not many random pops.

Not bad:)

Tech week again, not as good as last week, but still nice

Total Pops:
Form (+18 -19)=-1
Tact +2
Tech +2
Play +2
Stam +1
2007-08-16 13:26:49
striker:
1 up to incred

rdm:
1 def (striker)
2 PM (striker + mid)

2 stam pops

Could be better, could be worse.
As for pace training, its the longest skill to train (usually a week or 2 longer).

so I shouldn't be too disappointed with my first weeks Pace training. I was expecting more, as I've only had 4 random pace pops ever, and as this was the first week ever training pace, I expected practically the whole team to pop. ;-) Decrease my expectations eh!

The good thing about pace training though is, you can train up to 22 players each week and you will see pops more often overall(each week).

If all your players are around the same sub-level and all pop within 3 weeks of each other, those 3 weeks will more than make up for the weeks with none/not many pops :)
2007-08-16 14:30:12
well I have 22 players for the moment, and was going to take advantage of that with the Pace training. But only got pops at the lower levels, and none of my stars popped ;-)
2007-08-16 15:15:17
you'll prob get more next week :)

You had a decent amount of pops this week anyways so dont be greedy ;)

Quite a good week this week with quite a few random pops.

+1 stam... Welsh int

+5 pace...1 Welsh int

+1 def

+2 pmk

+1 tech.

Can't really grumble at that

Stu Langton, age: 24
value: 197 250 £, wage: 1 905 £
club: Caerphilly Dragons FC, country: Cymru
divine form, solid tactical discipline

formidable stamina, tragic keeper
formidable pace, average defender
formidable technique, poor playmaker
average passing, excellent striker

I will be putting langton up for sale at 7 tonight if anyone is interested and wanna put players up for sale before then to get funds together ;)

Nice player but can't afford him.

Trained Defender this week (so much for the pace training eh!)
4 pops incl 1 to formidable
1 striker (double with defending)
1 technique &
2 stamina

btw, thanks CymraegMatt for selling Bevan Gibbs, he's a real star- popped 5 times in 2 months. might even get into the Welsh U21, but that maybe a bit too soon for him.
2007-08-23 13:59:49
i would buy him how far away is he from a national team level ?
2007-08-23 14:34:01
I doubt he will make NT so no need to worry about having to train him :)

He aint too far off the NT players(a few lvls) but he will never catch them up and other younger ones will take over him(a few already have).
He is a decent striker though and will score goals :P
2007-08-23 14:39:37
An excellent striker, and he should bring in a lot of money, but he will not make NT level. As you said, there are a lot of younger players coming through. I know at least 4 U21 strikers that will overtake him before he gets anywhere near the NT level.
