bbwelsh [del] to All
I'm very disappointed with my squad and I'm not sure what to do to make my team look better.
Ok that my attack is freaking idiot, but my mid and defenders look very very weak. Not sure if my tactics are really bad or if my players arent good enough.
2009-04-06 15:28:53
trust me, your tactics are very bad :)
2009-04-06 15:44:35
Well my lot took a well deserved tonking.

If I suddenly went bald and got a lot uglier I'd know exactly how Alan Shearer is feeling right now.

I'm not sure if it's even worth trying to stay in the top flight, because financially it's crippling me. I'm not winning enough, so I don't get good crowds. Because I don't get good crowds I can't afford better players. Bit of a cycle at the moment....

Very harsh but true ;)

Myself and Matt has told him a fair few times that you can drive a bus through the gaps in his defenders :P
2009-04-06 19:02:06
I feel like a Tony Mowbray/Gareth Southgate cross at the minute. 8-0 stuffing and no win under me. Playing big rivals next week. Woopedoo. Any advice, PLEASE? :(

I've put them together for this match, but still looks that bad?
2009-04-06 19:55:03
They are too far apart for sure mate :(. You could always move to 4 at the back and have a complete re think of your tactics?.

As for you jayjay you're not allowed to go down. You where the first up to the top divsion so you have to stay, its punishment :).

When it comes to decent tactics I advise nobody to follow mine :P. TBH if you can I'd watch some of the top sides in Poland and other large sokker nations.

I'm having a complete change in about 2 weeks so I'll be far weaker next season, going to do abit of harry redknapp wheeling and dealing :)

as for the game my boys played quite well in patches, Edmunds was a bit good I'll miss him.

Well you played one of the better sides in Wales so was always going to be tough.

If you are playing 3 at the back move them much closer together, you're suffering from bbwelsh syndrome having them that far apart. Also midfield seems a bit spread out. Its tough at the beginning to get decent tactics unless you just copy somthing, but stick with it you'll come up with somthing I'm sure :)

and put them on the same horizontal line :)

Yep and it certainly feels like it at the moment! I do think there's a very big chance that I'll go down. I'm safe in the playoff spot, but the teams that win in the first divisions will likely be good enough to give me a game at the very least....

Rhys don't forget the darby next week! It will probably be another loss under your management!

What would you advise to do to get out of negative numbers CymreigMatt?
2009-04-07 21:39:34
Naff off. Just bought a player. Look at this
Lukáš Černický, age: 35
club: RJ`s Welsh Warriors, country: Česká republika
value: 95 550 £, wage: 1 440 £
excellent form, solid tactical discipline
bookings:

formidable stamina tragic keeper
adequate pace unsatisfactory defender
weak technique excellent playmaker
good passing average striker

£2000

Well in all fairness he's not exactly bad for 2k
2009-04-08 11:28:28
Ask Jay if he has still got that formation he used when he first started. It drove myself and Matt crazy for many seasons trying to find a way to beat it :P

On a serious note, as already been said, bring defenders even closer together and put them in a straight line. I also aint fussed on your striker positions, your 2 wide strikers are receiving the ball way too far back and just running into wingbacks all the time. I prefer using the 2 wider(using the word loosely) strikers further up around the same line as nevill currently is and drag him back a bit as supporting striker.
To me, it seems like you got 2 supporting strikers and 1 to go for goal. I would go with the other way around :)
