Question..

In the case of a defeat against a team that is supposedly not as good as ours will you take your share of the blame for the defeat?

I don't like managers who have a go at the players and seem to think that nothing was their fault.

The Welsh NT manager job really is a toughie. Experenced managers have failed to have a massive impact, what do you think you can do to perhaps improve our results?

I will take 100% of the blame, as I always do. I take 100% blame for tonights demolition.

I think my choice of players is different, as I look for different qualities. I think an up-and-coming player worth about £500000 should play second fiddle to a £600000 28 year old. I also find that if a player is in the wrong position it becomes 10 players on the field. I like to find every player's strongest area and play them there. Then Cymru could really move up the rankings. So a formation perfectly suited to all will definately improve results.

If this was your team, what tactic would you play and who would you play in each position?
You dont need to be too specific with the formation but more the better :)
Also, lets just say all players are the same age and all in superdivine form.

I would play a 4-3-2-1 formation, with 2 wing backs. I would have 1 centre midfield, with 2 wingers in a line alongside him. The 2 strikers would play behind 1 main striker. The team would be:
GK: Player 19: left side stats are far better, and a bit of training would easily raise him to superdivine.
LB: Player 15: His height is too short for the centre of defence, and his pace is could enough to cause problems.
RB: Player 11: Too short for the CB position, and pace weaker than 15, but defence is too good to ignore so he'd be on the right.
LCB: Player 06: Height easily good enough and left side stats are impressive. He could also slot into DM
RCB: Player 20: Height may slightly lack, but very fast and superb defending, great passing and technique make up for that.
CM: Player 09: Brilliant passing, pace and technique all superb, but outstanding defence and brilliant playmaking really secure the job.
RW: Player 18: 21 may have unearthly tech, but passing and pace are far higher here. Both superdivine mid, but although worth £400 000 less, I think this boy is better.
LW: Player 10: He maybe tall, but he's a great utility player and his pace makes him a winger instead of a DM.
LF: Player 08: His striking isn't the best of the bunch, but it's still unearthly and his pace makes him a good player to slot in behind the CF.
RF: Player 13: His pace is only incredible but he's still fast and has magical striking, so he also slots in behind the CF.
CF: Player 17: His pace is only formidable but his superdivine striking makes him the perfect candidate to lead the attack.

MID Player 05
MID Player 21

Haven't you seen rhys, the majority of NT players are like Excellent-Superdivine in DEF/MID/STR, so you are wrong there. Check vogue's list you could play most of them players in positions where they shouldn't be.

If you are refering to the NT game today, I was gonna put gray in instead of nevill but forgot to change the lineup which is why 2 subs were missing also(1 had a red card and the other was injured) :P
However, nevill is still our 4th best striker so his place in the team aint such a bad thing :)

Only 1 or 2 of the players I have listed are in our NT, some are from my team and some are fictional :P

Make your mind up rhys. Having a player out of position is nothing like having 10, i have tried it, i played a Mid in defence. I'would say playing an injured player in position i smore like having 10 players on the pitch. That's my opinion.

I've decided not to comment on each thread individually picking out the faults or atleast faults imo but I have looked through all and I will say all 3 of you have made choice(s) I personally wouldnt pick. The worst one imo has been player 18 who I wouldnt have in my team if someone offered him as a free transfer as he would just be wasting money on weekly wages :P
From the 3 of you, i'd say lipa has shown his experience the best by only picking one I would'nt have but he did put it down as the 3rd striker so I can only assume he thinks the other 2 are better choices which I do aswell.

I still think the interest and enthusiasm by yourself and morsey is great but I still feel you're lacking experience, especially with higher lvl players. From looking at the 3 threads, I would put my vote to lipa simply down to way more experience.

I dont think my opinion will make much difference though as it seems one of you 2 will be our new NT manager next week and whichever does win, it will be a nice learning experience which is all good for the future :)

As it is only friendly games this season also, I am not as worried as I would've been had we were heading into WC quals :P
