Subject: Sokker Cymru - Team of the Week

After the tremendous effort by rhysyboy last week with the Sokker Cymru awards. I have decided to hold a 'Team of the Week' competition, after last season's disasters with Yola being under maintenance and me not being active on the website, I have decided to use this thread to announce the winner every Monday.

This allows me to view Sunday's league results. Obviously, on Mondays on week 0 I won't announce a winner, because of there not being play-off matches for every team, it wouldn't be fair on the other league teams, but I will also announce 'Team of the Season' on that week. :)

I would also like to note there may be multiple winners of the 'Team of the Week'.

I may also hold an end-of-the-month poll to decide 'Team of the Month', and to be fair, you would not be allowed to vote for your own club, for obvious reasons.

The inaugural 'Team of the Week' is...

scooby scrappers, due to their shock result last night against Ashburn, winning 5-4.

You may disagree, but I feel they deserve the title after beating the best team in Division One.01*, even if they conceded 4 goals.

*When I say best, it's not based on this season.

Week 0 - Ridiculous Swifts - for shocking reigning champions Y Ddraig Goch in the Cup.
Week 1 - Croesgoch`s Crusaders - for their shock win over wales (now liverpool.fc)
Week 2 - scooby scrappers - for their shock win over Ashburn FC

I will be mainly concentrating on the Welsh Premier this Sunday to see who is worthy of a 'Team of the Week' award. :)

Celebrating the snow too much have I? :P

Week 3's 'Team of the Week' is Evans the Bread. Decided this as I checked through the league tables and noticed their top at the moment to go up automatically. :)

Week 4's 'Team of the Week' is Morse United (junior team), they managed to surprise me with a 0-0 draw against Caerphilly Dragons FC.

Why is that a surprise ?
My junior team is crap and I havnt even won a game with them yet except for the w/o I got in the 1st week :P
