In just under 10 mins we will start our MINI WC 1/8 final. We have a good chance i think as their two best players (by value) are injured. So far in the MINI WC 1/8 finals - there have been many penalty shoot-outs, lets hope that isn't the case with us. Commentry will be live in 5-7 mins (hopefully).
sorry, but i'm 10 mins late - i have had to do stuff and it has just loaded
Huw gray finds an opening in their defence goal cymru.
just checked report - Cymru are through to the 1/4 finals
p.s. Vogue - you better start training up letheran or i might put him on the bench.

lol, will you replace him with coussens if someone gives him passing? :P
Letheran has been trained since he was 16 and whatever you think about him, there is no room for sentimental choices in the NT, he is our 2nd striker going by skills and whether you play him or not, it wont change that.
You mentioned last week he was crap too but I didnt bother saying anything but I think I will now. Not only did he score a goal last week but it was his shot that set up the rebound for gray to knock his goal in.
As for this week, you basically put him in a terrible place in your tactic so he recieved the ball everytime(whenever he did get a ball that is) in front of their defenders with nowhere to run and it wouldnt have mattered which striker was there as none would've been able to dribble straight through their defence.

@ Vogue;
i will see how he does next time and i will place him up front with gray. But fail to impress, Phillpotts will take his place.

Phillpotts is in such bad form right now, i'd probably put price in instead of him.
As for the comment itself, sigh :(
As for the comment itself, sigh :(
it's only because of his recent progress in the team.

And thats why the sigh came :P
Its like saying you have 2 wingers exactly the same in skills and form and you prefer to play the one on the right side because he plays crap on the left side but it simply does not work that way.
The idea is to pick the best players possible for each game from their skills, form and to an extent, their TD and height can be used aswell now I guess and not to pick the team because one played good in the last game or didnt play good in the last game.
I'm not trying to have a go at you but as a NT manager, you really should'nt be making errors thinking like that. If Batts were to have a bad few games with balls bouncing off him and giving goals to the other team a few games in a row, would you replace him because of that?
The answer should simply be no as he is one of our best defenders whatever mistakes has happened in the last few games.

I'm not saying that - but from what i have seen so far - i'm not impressed. It be because of his form - i don't know.
I will continue to play him and see how he progresses. And as i said i will ply him up front next time instead of behind them a bit.
