well i am happy anyways, i finished a respectable 5th ahead of some big teams.

Next season you will go down and i will go up i assure you.

As there are only 4 teams going up, I can assure you none of them will be coming back down next season :P

Next season, there will only be 4 teams in the prem (the 4 that promotes this season) and places 5th to 8th will be the teams that get relegated but there will be no teams finishing 5th to 8th as there will only be 4 teams there :)

edit: to add to that, if you look at the league most of us are in now, you will notice there are no teams being relegated as it is places 17th to 32nd that gets relegated but we dont have that many teams in our league so no relegation.

yes, because you need a league of 8

So why not get 8 people promoted in the first place?

because that would be more than half the league

There will be a total of 8 teams in the prem when it is finally filled(within the next 2 seasons) with the bottom 4 being replaced by the top 4 of div 1 each season. However, as there will only be 4 teams in the prem next season, none of them will be finishing 5th to 8th so no relegation for them until its filled the season after.

Max amount of teams in div 1 is 32 same as in the senior leagues(4X8=32) with the bottom half(17th to 32nd) being relegated. We dont have more than 16 teams in div 1 though so once again, no relegation.

As I said in my last post, there will be relegation from the prem the season after as we will then have 8 teams in the prem as another 4 go up from div 1 next season :)
