Subject: [NT] Cymru end of season friendlies

last week we had an U23 against the NT of Letzebuerg. A quite poor game, mainly due to the weak striking force. Result 1-4 win.

Today we faced Norge. Ranking: 29 (Cymru 49). It was the first NT game with the combination play, and it seems I'll have to change most of my tactics. If you watch the match, pay attention to what our rightback does. As there is no buffer in front of him, he moves up every now and then, always too late and leaving their winger unmarked. Add the fact that we lose Dugmore due to a red card after 10 minutes, and it's a little miracle we get a 2-2 result. MOTM: Loveless with 2 decissive passes and a great pass after which they tackled into the decissive equalizing corner. We also hit the post once, but they hit the crossbar too. Well, a nice result in the end I dare say.

It's an improvement on 6-2 last season :)

We're on form just now. Italy and England being our latest victims :)

Anyway, Scotland up this Saturday. No need to deny they have better players. Especially this lad is scaring the shit out of our defs: Brent Buchanan.

Good result that really grats langhe

cant complain. I put the defmids so they'd cover more area and could launch better counter attacks. Negative side was that it opened our defence for their running passes. Got lucky there.
And I'll never understand this ME. Coward is rubbish during most of the time when it comes to passing, and then ge gives such a great decisive pass ... (had a similar one minutes before as well).
