My first NT game today is against Belgium, and I'm naming a slightly experimental line-up, so I'm hoping for a draw at best, but a not-too-much-of-a-trouncing is ok by me.

game underway

So rhys, you haven't started off well have you. You have been on sokker for over 1 year now and you still dont recognise the importance of form,

e.g. Stuart Nevill (TRAGIC FORM)!!!
2010-08-07 12:05:19
Well it all depends on how good he is compared to higher skilled rivals.
2010-08-07 12:07:54
he aint brilliant, i dont know skills but he is 30 yr old and only valued over 400K. He should of gone with someone with better form, after all, we do have 34 players to choose from.

no Prothero ? :S

Surely he's better than Perret?

and Perett is the worst of the 5 on the pitch ... bloody slow for nt player.
- Gray doestn have the technique to battle up front alone
- Nevill doesnt have the skills for his position (nor the forms). Dugmore and Morley are the only defmids that suit the position. A couple of guys have recently popped to outstanding def and should do a decent offensive job (but will suck on tackles)
- Cymru has only 5 decent defs. Even in tragic form, most of them are still better than the back up stuff.

Did suprise me seeing Nevill playing there, he used to play up front for me a few seasons back and i only remember him having a bit of pace and scoring!
2010-08-07 12:22:07
if only LP was manager :P
2010-08-07 12:22:50
5 is respectable i suppose. Could of been a 3 or possibly a 2 if he got the line up right.
2010-08-07 12:23:49
Totally hammered although in all fairness that's not suprising seeing who we faced.

However I have to agree with Langhe a few mistakes were made. The one playing Perrett ahead of Prothero was huge (just look at their indivdiual values :S)

Anyhow very tough introduction to the world of NT!

Good thing Lammes aint here, remember what he did to me when i was manager. Woudln't want to know what he would do to rhys :P

Stuart Nevill, age: 29
club: MADRID, country: Cymru
value: 817 950 £, wage: 8 910 £
divine form, incredible tactical discipline
height: 178 cm

formidable stamina tragic keeper
incredible pace excellent defender
incredible technique solid playmaker
very good passing divine striker

this are the most up to date skills i have for Nevill. A nice striker when in form and facing teams ranked 75 or lower ;)
2010-08-07 12:26:46
and now his value has plummetted he is 30 so i guess skills have gone down also or are starting to and his form has hit rock bottom.
2010-08-07 12:26:53
he hasn't even really got pace, I'm getting old can't remember anything :D

2010-08-07 12:31:11
thats how I got them from you, so indeed, he probably has dropped a bit here or there :p Oh well, I guess rhys will get our point. Would be nice if matt or vogue could help him a bit every now and then. Theres nae shame in getting help from experienced lads :)
