3-3.
At least we didn't lose.
Even though they had 10 men for a bit.

pity that current season, goes awful for Cymru
I just thought I'd note that Rhys played the tactic correctly, accept (remember that grammar fail Rhys ;)) for the addition of Collins, Smithe looks a better choice on the wing imo.
I was following the advice of MacLanghe, on Cymru Association
MacLanghe is the last option, find a better mentor :)
You are mocking rhys constantly. What have you done in this game to feel the right to do so? Don`t go all defensive now, I`m asking politely ;)
tbh Smithe is not a better winger than Collins.
Well i have the right since he mocked me when i was in the job.
Im sorry that you could not win this game, I really wanted Wales to go through.
we were out anyway, due to my incompetence in the Ecuador game, otherwise we could have had a chance
True :)
But this midfield's position is hard to play for Cymru I guess.
Based on what I remember
- we can field 2 defmids (Morley, Dugmore)
- 1 who can play any non defensive position: Loveless
- 1 winger: Seward
- 3 offensive mids: Smithe, Probin, Johnston
The other mids are either actually too weak (Reece, Hewitt, ...) or only decent back ups (Bowen, Money, Ellias, Collins)

Well that was another frustrating game to watch. The amount of times our strikers and loveless got tackled by weaker defenders(even from behind) and the amount of times the ball would just bounce off our defenders or our defenders would fail to tackle their striker or winger was extremely irritating. On another day, we would've won that game.
Now to pick faults at the tactics and player choice :P
First off, I really think Gray should've played instead Phillpotts in that game. Not sure if you have got that update off bruno yet but i'm still sure he is triple unearthly not to mention the better form he is in.
Next up is Collins and Bowen. I know the midfield is our main weakness and I dont really know the skills of the 2 players mentioned but I do have an older update of collins from a year ago when his tech wasnt the greatest at the time which is why he didnt get many games when I was in charge. Anyways back to the point :P
Is Collins really a better central mid that Tipton ?
Also, is Bowen good enough to be put on the wing/left mid ?
Finally we come to the tactics. That back line needs some small alterations as we were very vulnerable to their winger and those wingbacks needs to be pushed over further to cover any wingers so they are in front of the winger and easier to tackle rather than chasing them down and trying to tackle from behind which Batts failed to do on many if not all occasions.
Overall, it is an improvement though :)

I'm not sure why Probin isn't getting a regular game either, he must be at least as good as Collins and a damn site younger. If only for the future we should be playing him. Along with Dugmore, Overton, and Curtis he is the promising future of the Wales midfield.
