really, umm

a) i learnt about tactics --- setting defenders on 1 line etc.
b) i learnt where to place players
c) i learnt how to influence FORM in the game

Also, form, I knew not to play tragic-formed players, except for a few weeks when I could only play Invento Andrino in midfield with everyone else (because of injuries)

exactly, i learnt these stuff when i was NT manager, especially the tactical stuff.

there is/was a tactic which won us a game against South Africa last season .

But maybe you forget that you won hmm with a little bit of luck. We played similar football but your strikers were more effective than my ;> i changed tactic and your doesn't work so good ;>
