I may put future stars in the squad to protect them basically, but not play them (Gerwin Dubberly for example)

what is this said "experience" you or someone talks about? Is it that you believe that giving U21s a run out in the U21 NT that their experience will be much better than that of someone who has never played U21 level?

and do you intend to rotate players on a weekly basis?

Extra matches mean extra experience and exra teamwork, so higher TD. The problem is at this level, players are sold often which nullifies the effect.

@rhys

I plan to play the best squad relative to the opponent. As I plan for my opponents to be simliar to Cymru, that will generally be the best squad. I will rest a player for key games if asked except in extreme circumstances.

correct so giving them experience is always a total pain in the backside when the owner then sells them.

Which is why I disagreed with Morse :)

yes i hope if i get the job. Partially because i can see the talent we have available as skills do not always say where they should play. Drake for example allthough shows he should be a CM, he isn't because even though his tech is very good, his first touch isn't the best.

It all depends on the opposition really. But in most circumstances i will look to see if i need to risk players or not.

I'm not going for 20 at a time

i didn't say go for 20 that is just dramatic. On an away week i am -27k, 10k of that is from juniors. I only do this because i know that every now and then i will find a rare talent that will get me profit.

It's a lottery, you either are lucky or you aren't :)
2010-11-20 22:56:03
indeed, but you will always get one every now and then, which should mean profit for you and possibly the country.

England's best future winger (now 19) sold for 5k. After that, I rage shut my school.
2010-11-20 23:00:58
lol, but look at me, one good junior and i bagged 600k
2010-11-20 23:05:35
which you blew on a really old player :P
2010-11-20 23:06:38

Would you be up for a match against Island U21 first week?
2010-11-21 11:02:46
Well then, it's totally pointless playing in the u21s at all. I mean at the end of the day we get another manager in charge the next season and they may well not do as well as the previous one, or they may quit the game and we'll lose all our matches. You never know the whole universe might explode, then there's no point in any of it.

Of course it's bad if someone sells their player, but they may also not sell them, I don't see why that should influence your decision on the right player to play.
