ddraig [del] to All
I think we need a Welsh option, and I believe that I now have enough experience to bring something to the Welsh NT. It'll be a tough slog, but I believe we have enough good players in Wales to give us a chance on the world stage. With the right tactics and the right manager we can go places.

I guess I'll start off the questions...

What is your main aim for the Cymru NT team?
2010-11-13 10:48:06
The primary aim would be to bring youngsters through the team, so long term we can compete against some of the better nations. I don't believe it's worth playing the same bunch of older players all the time, in my view it's better to give the extra experience and training to younger players. I'd also like to try to get our ranking up, but that would be a secondary aim.

Do you think 'extra experience' for a young player is important then?
So basically, you prefer a 23yo double magical def to a 29yo double divine def (same sideskills, stamina, form)?

(I know I cant vote, so this question to you might seem to be weird, but its a logical question to your answer I think and I'd like to know other people's idea about it).

Yes, I do believe so, the extra experience and more importantly training is vital if we want to be able to compete on the world stage. That's obviously just my opinion, but I do get fed up of a very slightly better 30+ year old player playing instead of a 23 year old.

However, I would of course have to make a decision on who to play based on the likely outcome of the match. If I thought we could qualify and we were playing a fairly similar team then I'd obviously play the stronger defender. If we were playing a much weaker team then I'd risk the younger, less strong defender to get the training and experience.

ask him a question in the general discussions - you are not allowed to post in here against a rival candidate

do you think you can fix the mess this season's crap manager made?
2010-11-13 19:14:50
lol, I'd rather not comment on previous performance ;)
2010-11-13 20:27:03
good, 1-4 against England isn't overly bad though

Do you understand that if a player is red in NT line up selection you can check to see if he is available by looking at his previous game history?

This is clearly without doubt the most difficult part of being the NT boss and before voting for anybody I'd just like to check they know this bit of mindboggling info.

if he is red that means he is injured or has a red card :)
2010-11-14 18:37:35
Actually if his name is in red, this means : injury/red card for the CLUB.

The red card at NT is not seen when you make the line up.You have to check the squad.
2010-11-14 18:39:28
i think it's normal to check every player when you put in the squad.

ofc you have to double check, if you make a mistake than what kind of coach you are :)
