Absolutely shocking result. The attackers and mids played well, our defence on the otherhand was shockingly crap. I dont care what langhe says about leaving CD in the centre, that didn't seem to work sorry, gaps need to be closed and that is the only option in doing it. Also, i dont see the use of Phipps going to join curtis in the corner when he has the ball, that shall be changed also.

Should of been a win playing against a squad who went down to 9 men. Our defensive line let us down.

I expected wings and didn't get them. The spacing wasn't terrible, the OS line was. Still, stat fails gave them most of their goals.
And Ingram couldnae trap a brick.

But hell did we get lucky.

The corner Curtis/Phipps bit is for throwins, otherwise there'd be no-one to throw to.

Yes well that has been altered now, there is not/should no longer be massive gaps in defence.

Yes but they dont need to be that close, what happens when Curtis is running along the wing like most circumstances such as today. Phipps was by him doing bugger all leaving only Ingram in the box for him to pass to.

Phipps is a MID, I want him to not be in the area, so the ATT is the only option.

Anyway, scrap that tactic and make a new one now :)
