best thing i could advise is not waste it on 30yo players.

The best thing to do and i guess most users will back me buy saying, buy some 16-21yo trainees.

whats most profitable to train?

well thats highly debateable.

I would say personally midfield. Train up their pace/tech/passing and playmaker and they go for a bomb. But always train with a trainer who has an unearthly skill on the thing you are training.

Strikers surely are the easiest/fastest way to make money :)
Only 3 skills needed and you can get 5M bids for them when almost triple divine (which is possible at age 26). Mids need more skills and to get lots of money (3.5M is quite a lot for decent mids) they need lots of def (ok, then they can hit that 5-5.5M too). And you have 4 more, but it takes ages to train them. Or you have to buy great players, but those cost 2M, so profit is gone :)

A couple of seasons ago I'd have said GK, but its very hard to sell GKs for good money lately.

tbh i agree

1) 5000 seats under cover on the opposite side of your benches.
I think this should cost you roughly 500k.

2) buy some trainees, I also agree with langhe on this part and suggest strikers.
look for 17yr olds with the total skill of pace, tech and striker adding up to betwen 20 and 25 points.
e.g. A striker with good pace, tech and striker would be 21 points total.
I cant really give an estimate of price for them as I havnt really been looking at the TL much recently but if I had to guess, they should be around 100k each?

3) With the remainder of your money, either buy better and slightly older players(25-28yr olds) for your non trained positions or build more on your stadium(adding seats under cover to behind the goal or the corners). Or you could do both :)

Hope your daughter is feeling much better too and if you need any further help, feel free to post away or send me a mail :)

I might regret this but DONT DO THIS...it has been proven that at the moment BENCHES are going for MORE than seats. To back up this, in a game a few weeks ago, i had my 5000 benches set at £7.50, and my 3200 seats set at £6.50...the benches SOLD OUT whilst the seats were not even 2000 full.

If i can find the thread on Sokker International, i will post it here.

and last nights game, i had benches set at £8 and seats at £4.50....500 went for seats...over 2000 went for benches....

But without seats, benches won't fill, and you'll get less fans ;)

Tis a bug in stadium attendance, where it will see seats as the highest, so they will go to the 'next cheapest' in benches, even if your benches are more expensive :)

Well then build 1k seats, 4k benches
2011-01-27 17:12:01
Then when greg fixes it (any time now.... xD), pff. You'd be better off with an allseater anyway ;)

funny dude :D

Price isn't important, it is only the type of seat. The fan choice setup is still Standing > Terraces > Benches > Seats
2011-01-28 16:50:24
im not saying price is important but at the moment benches are selling better than seats and for higher prices = more revenue overall

Not quite.

If you have an all seater and an all bench, set at the same price, more fans would turn up for the all seater than the all bench.
