Subject: [U21] U21-players on transferlist
not 100%, i thought they had changed it where you call them up and they get transfer listed - maybe it's on saturday instead or after he plays, i'll bring him on as a sub at least just in case. was looking for forum threads to request it but my searching found nothing.
no ETA on this - i've read the forums and asked an admin and other U21 managers, the rules were changed recently, so it's just a wait and see at this point, sorry to get everyones hopes up but as soon as i know, i will post it here.
They're all up - Thompson is attracting a fair amount of interest straight away.
Have you had a look at that newer team in 1.01 (Delvis FC) by the way? They've got a 19 yo with £83k value, never played a game but potentially another useful player. Teams take so long to bot now that he might never get trained is the only thing.

he's a gk who i would say isn't going to be good because of his age and how much he has to train. i guess i can reveal it since they're not alive - 2 pace 7 gk 9 passing. if they were 18 and in an active team, that's worth the training. best case scenario if one of us had him he'd get to 6 pace by the end of the season, if he has talent, then you pray for gk side pop maybe twice and a passing pop so ends at 6 pace, 9gk, 10 passing, then you can potentially get him to 10,11 pace the season after, then at 21 you just train gk and pray.
compare it to my gk symonds - sure i got lucky with a good pull but at 19 he had 8 pace 9 gk, 9 passing - this was before advanced training, if he had advanced training his pace would have popped so much more.
but yeah, even i'm interested in dougie right now, but don't wanna spend too much. he's got mid written all over him, just i am training passing which isn't a bad thing, but you can delay passing training since it's the quickest to pop. and a lot of U21 mids will be 21, 22 next season so we need some up and coming talents.
right now it's people like maffia, rees, borrowman, blewett who can really come far not just in the NT but can be sold for a lot either at 21, or 24/25.

so out of all the players, 2 got sold, dougie for 500k and some 21 yo for £1.
not too surprising, given the risk of not know their talent, but dougie had good enough distribution + sum to gather that interest.

Dougie going for £500k has given me some hope at least for my junior coming out this week at 18yo, £500k would totally change what I can do at the moment! His distribution was great though so doesn't surprise me, he was at £198k last I saw so must've skyrocketed late on.
The manager who's picked him up looks of a good stature though so if he's going to train him you'd expect him to know what he's doing.

it's all luck + timing for players to have good value - i think week 5 is a bit late, but not too late for someone like dougie who had a good SUM. it's still a gamble, but if his talent was 3.5 or better, he'd be going for over 1m, 2m
i sold robinson recently, ok he was 21, or 20 at the time, but his distribution was pretty good, hoping maybe 500k - sold for like £1, i felt robbed because he did have decent enough talent but i needed room for slightly better talent that were younger
