Tbh I don't know what to say about that game, I stopped watching after the 4th goal. The players just didn't follow the tactics. My full backs just kept running back further than my centre backs..... so Britain's forwards just stood behind my defenders and kept having free runs on the goal. I haven't changed the tactics, so no idea why they were doing that... clearly Britain have much better players, but that was bullshit. No point in setting tactics if they players just make it all up.

nah not a fight - i could have thrown the game and let cym win the league but now most likely britain wins again, 95% chance. i'd have to win + they draw for me to win the league because of the goal difference.

good to see everyone making half decent progress keeping us on our toes.

Bit of a "Meh!" ending to the season all round. Dead rubber game for me so didn't play any trainees more than they had to be. At this point those trainees are some of my best players so it was always going to affect performance.

First half I thought they actually did ok, but second half we were blown away. Of course we had the traditional injury to a striker and added a red card for a laugh this time.

Britain's result rounded it all off nicely, so a bot wins the league, ensuring no-one is happy.

The result also makes Sunday's performance even more infuriating. If only my defenders could have stood in a straight line and we might have given them a game....

just hillarious, the team i said was fake comes back to bite us in the ass, if only someone called it out sooner?

also love to see an 18 form, 18 gk drop the ball instead of catching it, and my striker pass back instead of run into the open space in front him.

Sporting just about getting over the line with a 2-3 win to rub it in against me as well. My highest scoreline of the season and with a fair few trainees in the starting team at least though so something to take from tonight at least from my end. Hopefully continue to close the gap next season now I’ve got my backroom staff set up.

Pretty miserable to have a bot win the league.

The worst part is that they're not even that good. They had a lot of luck to get that title. If a human team had that much luck it would have been quite cool, but when it's a cheater/bot it's a lot less fun.

Out of interest, what have you gone for in backroom staff? (I know, I'm being nosey!)

When the difference between 2 teams is so big and the weaker team win twice in a season is not about luck. The bot tactic is better. 7 shots on target to 3 today. We could ve talked about being unlucky if he had 20 shots on target. I don t have Plus but the midfielders look like they are too high up the pitch.

I think over the course of the season they were lucky. I get what you’re saying about a one off game, but they came out on the right side of a lot of close games and games they were outplayed.

I don’t have plus so can’t watch the game either, so hard to say if there were any tactical blunders, but it’s not like the tactic was terrible.

luck is part of it, but then all you need is a few shots and score 1 and hold out, happened for me a lot over the seasons, going 1-0 praying for nothing to happen then lose 1-2 and happened a lot last 2 seasons seeing my striker score 1 from 15 shots where it should be at least 5 when his form and stats are in the right place.

britains tactics are ok- but the 433 has proven to work fine against it, my first season to beat him twice + win the cup final came when i switched to a 433, is 433 optimal? no, im sure the team i had, a 523 or 532 would have sufficed with the quality i had.

I managed to snipe a brilliant coach for £8k the other day with only £18k salary, he’s only 2x unearthly so must be basically the lowest stats you can get across the board for a brilliant but he’s taking care of my juniors. I did bring in a more expensive brilliant coach (£26k) I got for about £25k a month or two ago but I’ll let him go now as his salary was killing me every week. I’ve got an incredible coach for head coaching now who is unearthly in pace and tech, only £14.5k salary so they’re both pretty affordable. I’ve sunk a lot of money into a revolving door of coaches and bits of the stadium this season and only brought in 3 new starters in the first team, so next season now realistically unless I can snipe another steal of a coach I can concentrate on upgrading the team itself. Targeting 40 points and 5th place this coming season now.

My junior team has finally gone through the empty leagues to get to the Premier for next season too, will mess the format up a bit unfortunately but I can actually try some of them out before promoting them at last.

yeah for only 2 unearthly, 18k is a bit much, but i havent hired a trainer in a while, one of my first trainers i got lucky, 22k salary magical [15] coach 16 in everything but gk + def, my other 2 coaches are 30k each but one of them is 16 who i use as my youth most of the time, just keep going each season, sell some youth, keep some youth, if you want to try and make some money, keep a chart of a youth player's talent, if you can get a 17 yo with 3-3.5 talent in early parts of a season, you got a quick milly at least, then once your stadium starts selling out vs bots, expand by 5k or however much you can afford, then you get a steady income for most of the season.

edit: don't expand too quickly, i think i was better at 40, 50k i went to 76k to match britain but barely selling 30, 40k, think britain got 50k vs my team at home, so thats still 20k seats missing. my attendance went down after i sold my team and finished 3rd or whatever.

Hi guys,
Election has started and it lasts just a week. I know next season is friendly only but it would be nice if you have a coach in place. Like I mentioned before it wont occupy to much of your time. Just a tactic and every Thursday check if anybody was lucky with their academy :)

I put my name down in case no other welsh managers want to.

Ideally someone else will though.
